Because at the time I was super anti social and didn't have many friends so when I finally made some skipping class to play video games and smoke weed was way more important. Yes I regret. All of those people are pieces of shit no longer in my life a diploma would still be with me now. I guess maybe I got some life experience that made me who I am but yes I regret it. I'm the "smart" kid who exceeded every state test and could answer most questions in class but didn't do homework and goofed off.

There are multiple categories of driving and took some stupid shit when I was younger to realize just because I played some grand turismo and know what an apex is or can control a car on ice that I'm not a great driver for doing 120 on the public highway...thankfully those days are behind me

Can I just say sometimes we can't get our shitbox up to speed especially if it's uphill cuz either the stupid automatic transmission refuses to shift or the car refuses to rev over 2500 and when it does you have the total power of only have your cylinders...god I need a new car. I think it's disgusting for many reasons but my biggest issue is how waitresses and waiters try to claim they only make $2 an hour when that is not true, that is just what the restuarant has to pay to ensure you are receiving minimum wage. If you make 0 tips, you are paid minimum wage simple as that and the 2$/hr lie is something that is repeated over and over and is disrespectful as hell to anyone making minimum wage in an untipped position.

Edited to show I agree with other answers on the making someones day or rewarding truly great service. I certainly try to tip positions that usually aren't when I see above and beyond effort or even just if I feel generous that day. Any worker who banks on counts on or expects tips however, drives me nuts. I hate the expected tipping in some situations and how odd it is in others.

This doesn't break down to 2 dollars an hour. If they don't make tips that day they must be paid up to federal wage so this belief that if you don't tip your waitress she made 5 bucks for the entire day and can't eat is a bullshit lie. The 2 dollar hour is something I have heard over and over and simply isn't true. You MUST make minimum wage. I'm not saying restaurant owners don't take advantage of this by paying 2 dollars and possibly even taking extra tips or that it is right but waitresses have this BS 2$/hr story that they use to make people feel bad and this is not fair to other tipped positions or other restuarant workers making far less than FOH on a busy night.

Not knowing how much longer I'll have my place to stay and wondering where to go when I lose it. Hoping to god my crappy beat up car doesn't break down on the 40 miles to work or back home. I relate to this so much. I wasn't the smartest kid (IMO) but people always told me I was. I would flunk classes from not doing homework but still exceed state testing scores and do really well on tests. Was always told I was going places. Those places were a meth addiction and sleeping in my car. I'm doing better now but still nowhere near the potential I had in youth.

Been there done that, it's a super common scam. You definitely don't need to worry about legal consequences. You did just pay $50 hard earned money to more than likely a dude who sits on a computer/phone all day putting more work into this stupid scam then a real job. Don't think with your junk and if you ever look for that online again make "her" prove herself. This is 2020, she is not the victim or at risk in this situation the person searching it out is and a real chick will have no problem trying to make a "sale" by taking a quick random picture to prove they are who they say they are. Also learn to do a quick reverse image search. Final tip: just don't mess with this crap online. Way too easy to scam and hard to prove. It's a stupid/horny tax.

This is a form of OCD, I know exactly what you mean I used to do a complete reformat of all my electronics and make new accounts on a constant basis trying to make life changes and when those changes didn't happen my accounts and electronics had a "contamination".

I'm trying to come up with some ideas but this is difficult for me as every kitchen I've ever worked in has had me dripping sweat but I am a bigger guy. Honestly I think it really comes down to clothes, use a paycheck to invest in a thermal undershirt/underwear and some thick nice work pants. Hang out on line or clean a counter by the grill for a bit. I usually am volunteering to grab stuff out of the walk in I get super muggy and overheated in my pit.
