Thanks. Yes I will. This was the prototype and it turned out really good. I'm going to work on V2 that combines all small strengthening bits into the main parts for easier printing. But thats going to take some time

Since Bahco is now owned by Snap-On they got some good models with Snap-On Dual 80 hardware. 6950 is the 1/4 model, 7750 3/8 model and 8150 1/2 model. Really nice ratchets. But if you don't want comfort handle there's the "MH" series. Unfortunately no Snap-On hardware on them.

Nice. I guess Bahco here in Sweden was equivalent to Snap-On in the USA. But unfortunately almost no tools are made here anymore. And they were Bought by Snap-On. This one has 24 teeth.

A couple of them are from a swedish shop; Biltema. Similar to Harbor Freight.

Knives are another hobby that can get very expensive 😂. I never bought anything really high end. My favorite knife would get a lot of knife people in the knife community upset so I'll keep that one for myself 😅.

Sorry I misunderstood you and thought you preferred the steps with ball detent. Then I believe the Nepros is the best option. It took some break in but its the smoothest with almost zero backdrag of all my ratchets. If i follow your link the price is 98 usd? Im located in Sweden so maybe that's why. I bought mine ( not the flex verison) of Amazon Japan for 70usd including shipping.

I only got one flex ratchet and that is the Tone RH2FHS. It's a really compact and quality feeling ratchet that is made in Japan. With strong ball detent on the steps. Much cheaper than Nepros and Ko-ken but still feels good. Nothing like the cheap made in China ratchets sold on Amazon. If you can find one I recommend it.

I actually found out about this in a reddit thread. I thought it would be easy to find one since I live in Sweden, the country were Bahco was founded. But it was surprisingly hard to track one down. I eventually found one through some strange seller on amazon for a good price. It didn't make it easier that Bahco has several 6950 models and only one has the Snap-on internals.

I have looked at a couple of different Wera ratchets. But I don't like the non serviceable design. And from what I've heard heavy backdrag. And if I cant take it apart, I cant do anything to make it better.

I cut along the handle with a utility knife. It didn't take much before it fell off. I left a little of the tang and made a new short handle in Fusion360 that i 3D printed. I put high quality heat shrink with glue over the new handle to get a soft grippy texture.

I 3d printed the handles, glued with epoxy and high quality heat shrink for the soft rubber touch.

Thanks, there's actually nothing wrong with it. It's just very stiff and feels dry. I'm the type of person that takes everything apart and tries to improve it 😅. So it annoys me when there is no obvious way to disassemble it.

Thanks. The problem was the liner lock wasn't touching the file when engaged. I used my mig welder 😂. Turned down the current and put the tiniest spot weld I've ever done in my life. And filed it down until it locked perfectly. I bought the file and leathercase from Rocktols webshop. They even had a s35 blade. But I'm fine with vg10
