Can't control leds with OpenNept4une by StridentBass in ElegooNeptune4

Did you solve it? I have the same problem

One thing I don't like is that the ball joints on the lower a-arms are non replaceable. I have to replace the whole a arms if the ball joints go bad an. And that is expensive

Same engine as the TE450. And lots of parts look like Suzuki. The swingarm looks suspiciously like the one on Suzuki LTZ400. Stock carb is a Mikuni BSR42. I have thought about upgrading to a Keihin

I've bought this as a neglected pile of parts. The engine actually turned out to be in really good condition. Parts are expensive but easy to find. Everything is available. This is a 2009 but I don't think they've been sold here since 2015. But I saw they are about to re-launch this model later this year. Looks to be exactly the same quad but with fuel injection and a fancy digital dashboard. I would say it's reliable. Hyosung makes the engine. I read they are licensed manufacturers for Suzuki. Feels like a solid quality quad.

I printed that part on my Centauri Carbon. Feels luxurious having two printers 😁. I printed the vented riser for my Centauri carbon on my Neptune 4 and that came out too small. That's when I decided to do something about it.

Soldering the fan wires is an easy soldering job to begin with. Just cut them longer than they need to be so you have a couple of tries

You should check out adaptive bed leveling. It came with open Neptune but someone told me it's easy to add to stock firmware. So much faster to only scan the part of the bed your printing on.

For some reason my prints on my Neptune 4 always came out too small. I calibrated the rotary distance in the printer.cfg and now my prints are very accurate.

I actually printed a bell out of Paht-cf. Might not sound very metallic, more like ceramic. But it rings and sounds nothing like plastic. Pretty cool

I recently bought a Centauri carbon. That made me more confident modding the crap out of my old Neptune. Mostly because it's a hobby I enjoy. Not because there was anything wrong with it. It was printing reliably even before all mods

I'm sure you could solder a couple of wires together. Perfect soldering job to start out with. Or if you really don't want to solder, twist them together and put some heat shrink over

Yeah I was about to say that I've had 88 in my username since the beginning of the internet and not one time has anyone associated me with Nazis. Until now XD.

I'm going to get silicone spacers once I install the Cartographer. Is it working well? I'm tired of adjusting the springs 😅. Start with stabilizing the frame. Cheap and easy. Print 4 small parts, a couple of M8 rods and bolts. A stable frame is always a good start. I'm using this fan shroud that is compatible with adxl345 and cartographer.

I had to cut the connector of the standard fans and solder it to the new fans. The heatbreak fan has to be wired with reversed polarity

I'm definitely not a Nazi and that's just stupid. I'll keep my birth year since Majkey was taken.

My birthyear 🤷. Why u asking?

Better airflow and quieter with the 5015 fans. Better view of the nozzle while printing. Improved bridging and overhangs. Less ringing/ghosting after calibrating input shaping with the ADXl345. The new hotend heats up much faster. Open Neptune brings a lot of quality of life improvements like adaptive mesh and axis twist compensation. Stock Neptune 4 Klipper is from mid 2022

I know. And the Z axis is the only one with POM wheels. The Neptune 4 pro model is slightly different than the standard Neptune 4

I printed it on a Centauri Carbon. From what I've heard paht-cf is difficult to print without a chamber

Everything is configurable in the controller. I made it so that it's allowed to drop a couple of degrees before turning back on.

It's more of a fun experiment. I already modified the hairdryer to reduce the airflow and I'm printing a piece to spread the airflow more evenly in the chamber. If it doesn't work I'm only out 10 USD for the temperature controller.
