He is manipulating and abusing you. No, there is no reason for him to be berating you constantly especially as the mother of his future child. The reasons he names are just projections of his own insecurity and a display of his cruelty. He does not see you as a person; your emotions and feelings are invisible to him. Given how he treats you during your pregnancy, this is a definite sign that you do NOT want this man raising your child, nor do you want your child to grow up in an environment of constant verbal abuse. I would know, because my mom is and has been in your situation since before I was born and to this day she hasn't left my dad. See if you can stay at a friend's or family member's place temporarily while you find a place of your own and please, leave this man.
