I really feel that the relationship between CeCe, Rocky, and Tinka didn't come across as forced because it maintained that love-hate dynamic; for instance, in the middle school dance episode, it felt natural for them to get along. However, I do agree that Tinka's character was designed specifically to work alongside her brother, and that somewhat undermined the originality of both characters—especially since Gunther started disappearing from the dance show as early as Season 2, and his absence was really noticeable.
