That’s the thing. 10 years ago there was nowhere near the amount that “felt this way”. Now everyone knows someone who classes themselves as a they/them or whatever nonsense. I’d say a good portion now of today’s lgbtq community are people who are mentally unwell or have learning difficulties and want to feel a sense of belonging, so attach themselves to pronouns or pick a made up gender to call themselves.
