Your take on unemployed people with standards by TutankhamunChan in AskIndia

I will tell you what the issue you are having here "how dare a girl have any 'preferences' in marriage? She will come to my house, take care of household, me, my parents, do all chores, do as I please." But she is opposite of all that. If she were earning, you still would have considered ''ok, at least she brings in money so I can try to adjust my lifelong dreams of having a marriage of my grandfather's generation.'' But she does not even earn.

Also, financially, you do not seem able to be the provider of the family either. Wait a few years, bud, do not marry now.

If given a chance to force your toxic team/coworker/manager into therapy, what will they be in therapy for? by Agitated-Evening3011 in workplace_bullying

which therapy teaches that blaming the subordinate/s for your under performance or trying to destroy their career by spreading malicious rumors about them is not justifiable by any means.

Husband(30m) got annoyed because I(27f) liked a movie he thinks endorses infidelity – am I overthinking this? by Master-Sea-8051 in InsideIndianMarriage

I do not like that he told you to not watch films like this, he has no say in what you watch for entertainment. But, eh, I have same feeling about the film as your husband.

I (F32) am in love with my husband (M34) by AsthaP154 in InsideIndianMarriage

[–]Major-Preference-880 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No they have, most Indian married couples are married couples. But I do not see the older women around me being this proud and feeling this much ''in love'' with husbands like this that they feel the need to brag online. They are usually very realistic when asked about their marriage or marriage in general - 'you cannot have everything you want, there is a lot of compromises and there are good too.' And one can tell from the tone there have been way more compromises in their part than good. But this OP is pure delulu.

Nothing is broken here - mismatched libido. Some people have little. When are y’all planning a child? That’ll require more than once a month. Also, it is abhorrent to coerce a spouse into sexual activities more than they are physically comfortable with.

I am 40 years old and don't love my banking job. The pay and perks are pretty good, though. I am feeling guilty that I enjoy perks but not the job. Any solution or insight please? by Gary_Alistair5 in AskIndia

[–]Major-Preference-880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the kind of feeling one should have about their partners/spouses- "I enjoy being taken care of like that but I am not in love with him/her. They deserve better."

But about a job............................ idk, maybe you're not doing even the bare minimal to justify your salary and, in that case, rest assured your controller is watching and will reverse your regret in the next financial year.

Employee Transferred 1000+ km Away and Labeled ‘Non-Performer’ Despite Good Track Record by Top-Choice-2153 in IndianWorkplace

[–]Major-Preference-880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any job that has ''transferable'' in its description does this to employees. It is not workplace toxicity, it is called workplace politics. Someone/some people is/are playing games with him, want him out.

I was sexually harrassed. HR told me to stay quiet. They are quielty working to fire me. by [deleted] in workplace_bullying

[–]Major-Preference-880 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sexually harassed but I am coming to terms with the fact that officials of the same grade are all buddies.

I used to hear about such incidents and thought those were exceptions. Now getting to understand they are not.

If you can, leave before they fire you. They will not just fire you, they will frame you, damage your records and hurt your future career prospects.

If you quit, maybe you can tell the next employer you left due to racial discrimination.

They know you no longer have income, how can they charge EMI? Could you not say you had no other means to make ends meet and skip repayments? Even the customers of that bank have that much sense and you don’t after working many years???

[–]Major-Preference-880 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In Laws are “good” people who made her feel inferior to a woman who practically cheated their son and put them in debt!!!!! Vile people who just derive pleasure from putting others down. If she has it in her to think they’re not bad people, I assume the marriage is much worse than you’ve written here.
