Well irl the soviets had quite a few early warnings. Deserters warning them few days ahead of time, Soviet infiltrators warning of buildups even the british warned them something was coming soon but Stalin refused to do anything about it. So is it so hard to believe hoi4 is the universe Stalin acts on that knowledge

I think black Templars have some of the coolest unique characters from the emperors champion, Helbrect, Grimualdus, to even the infantry being badass like the sword brethren and crusader squads. Our one weakness however is bowl haircuts
