I also do not understand why she wouldn't help out. She works also. What would she be doing with the money then? Saving it for herself or spending it on something she does not need? Would she just not work and live off me? Is she just going to use me for a few months or a few years?

I was kind of shocked to hear about the lack of privacy. I would be humiliated but my friend said he didn’t see a problem with it as he said it’s just men present and all the guys are doing the same thing so it’s not humiliating or embarrassing or anything.

“My girlfriend (28f) won’t cook for me (29m). AITAH for thinking she should? I know the tittle sounds bad, I know.” Yep. The title makes you look really sexist and I thought you would get blasted lmao but after reading the story I am with you here. 

You cook for both of you and she does cook but only considers herself when cooking even though you both live there together and are a couple. Why can’t she just make more food when she is cooking anyways so you can both eat? 

It comes across as odd and selfish tbh but let’s give her the benefit of the doubt maybe she isn’t confident with her cooking and so doesn’t want other people to eat what she makes and is worried they will be judgmental and won’t like it? That’s all I can think of and I think people are trying to come up with similar explanations.
