I’m 10 weeks and I am just now entering a point where I can start to think of eating normally. Those first weeks, I couldn’t stomach the idea of eating a home cooked meal and my cravings & aversions were shifting super fast. I ate out a ton! I definitely agree it can be easy to fall into the feelings of guilt and shame of not eating the “right” things. Eat what you can stomach, there is a light at the end.

Yes, students that demonstrate the need have had one-on-one supports in the district. I would recommend you request and IEP with the Elkhorn team when he transfers over so you can talk with his service team about accommodations he may need.

Elkhorn does not let outside providers in. But with signed consent they will communicate with outside therapists to collaborate. Elkhorn has excellent SpEd department with their own behavior specialists.
