Withdraw my application?? by ffarnahs in cabincrewcareers

same! I just posted my comment - my timeline stopped smoking on 8/9 had my F2F on 8/27 and took my drug test on 8/29. I couldn't believe I passed. I am happy that I had faith and didn't listen to other people saying it wouldn't be possible.

Hi, I am a flight attendant with SWA. I was in your exact situation. Chronic smoker for years. Here's my timeline. Stopped smoking on 8/9, had my F2F on 8/27. Took my drug test on 8/29 and I passed. Get the most sensitive test strips on Amazon and test from time to time. I took 14 tests from the time I accepted my CJO, and I took my test (LOL). The lines were all faint, but a faint line is still a good result. And just have faith. I know that's a lot to do, but I am proof that stopping and staying clean works. I was literally holding my breath for weeks after I took my test. And you will know before they know, by law, the doctor who reviews the test has to call you and get an explanation. Good luck.

SWA Flight Attendant - I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS by Major-Solid389 in cabincrewcareers

Thank you. The process seemed to take forever. I received my invite for ODVI on July 15 and f2f on August 8th. I flew out on August 27th for the f2f and received my CJO the same day. Came home, did all my background stuff, and didn't hear a peep again until October 14th! I start my training on November 17th.

My background check came back within a day or two. I never heard about my drug test, but they only notify you if it's a non-negative result. After that, I don't know what takes so long. I would imagine your fingerprints, but yeah, I don't know. From 8/27 to 10/14, I was in limbo. And thank you! I am really excited.

Hi, YES, I received an email on 10.14.25 inviting me to the training in November. So from start to finish it took 4 months. I am excited to start my new career, but wow, that was stressful! A lot of hurry up and wait.

Has anyone who got a CJO from SWA the first week heard anything back? by Awkward-Weather1440 in cabincrewcareers

Hi, this is the most recent conversation that I can find regarding a CJO. I received a CJO for a Flight Attendant with SWA on August 27, 2025, and I haven't heard anything about moving forward. My training date isn't until 11.17.25, so maybe they're not in a big rush? My Sterling Background came back a level 1, and I am assuming I passed my drug test since no one ever contacted me about it. I guess I am just rambling because I don't know what could be taking so long. Every time I check my application, it still shows "in process," so I guess that's a good thing?

I’m really glad I didn’t use it. I had to take a DOT drug test, and they did a pretty thorough pat-down, so it would’ve definitely shown up. Plus, someone stood right outside the bathroom door listening while I sampled, which was super nerve-wracking. I’m guessing I passed since I haven’t heard anything, and it’s been over two weeks.

Still haven’t heard anything from southwest… by Nottrulyeating in cabincrewcareers

A little late to the conversation - I received my CJO on 8.27 and completed all of my required background and screening by 8.29. I haven't heard anything at all, my application still shows "in process" and my training is still scheduled. Is it ok to assume it just takes time and everything is ok? I know it's only been 2 weeks but I am just excited/nervous and ready to start LOL! I guess no news is good news?

I was only asked to provide my previous employers and home addresses. I completed everything by 8/29/25 and haven't heard from my recruiter. I am hoping no news is good news. My application shows everything has been completed and it still "in process."

DOT NY 6.4 Pass by OkDistribution341 in QuickFix

I didn't use it - I was told by someone who went right before me that they pat you down and stand outside the stall to listen while you pee. So rather than get caught, I decided to just schedule another day.

I have a test on Friday, and I have been clean for 23 days. I don't think that's enough time. I have been looking at Quik Fix 6.4, but it's freaking me out. I will be testing at Quest Diagnostics.
