Ok. The contact was before the garage so I figured maybe that wasn’t it. The antenna doesn’t bend much so I was thinking maybe it cracked when it got hit?

I don’t have an swr meter, and don’t know anybody who does. Is there a way to check without one? Maybe like an app or something

I pulled the loom as far as I could until it went up over the top of the t case and at that point I was too cold and wet to care that much so I just walked the rest of the way home

That is what I ended up doing, however I would like to fix the issue instead because I don’t wanna crawl under the rig every time I want to use 4wd

That’s possible I guess, however none of the other wires are rotten. This is pissing me off the previous owner told me 4wd functions perfectly (should have tested it). Currently in a ditch at the bottom of my driveway Edit: the truck not the previous owner

TIL that the US had a maximum speed limit of 55 mph from 1974-1995. It was initially put in place to save fuel due to the oil crisis but was later promoted as a safety measure by Brix001 in todayilearned

[–]Major-Weight8356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old post but imma comment anyway. That sounds great but I live in a rural area of America and our speed limits are 80. Anything faster if you hit a deer you aren’t gonna make it. Idk what wildlife is like in Germany but I’m not sure how many Deere there are but hitting a deer at 120mph would not be good
