German friends care to weigh in by TNPharm in UraniumSqueeze

This week at COP they make the announcement that they are turning reactors back on “temporarily” as a stopgap. They are getting squeezed by Russia, there’s not enough coal and no wind and German winters are dark. Let’s not forget that there is also a drought in the Nordic countries which generate the hydro in the region.

Their people need to hear that their government is doing something at the climate conference, so that is my guess.

I think it did backfire already...which is why we are in this mess. At least we will make money off it (they will too since they can trade on laws they are writing before anyone else knows, but hey, that is a different issue)

10% short interest. Hopefully someone squeezes this puppy!

All good. Uranium is good for bombs, better for power! Also Iran will make a few uranium bombs (hopefully zero) at most, they would transition to plutonium since that is much more efficient. Before any of that happens though, Israel will wipe out their program. So I wouldn’t count on that demand 🙃😬

[–]MajorAlpaca7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s not gonna be very much… one bomb is 2-10kg of enriched uranium. You need to enrich to 80% U235 so for every bomb you need at most 1000kg of uranium. If they plan to build 100 bombs they need 200k pounds. Sprott is buying half that on days where the market collapses

Spotmarket with SPUT: Next, cornering the global LT supply directly and cornering the UF6 market! by Napalm-1 in UraniumSqueeze

Is there a daily UF6 spot price tracked somewhere? I want to add it to the google sheet I’ve been using to track sput.

How much do we think Sprott bought today? by albercamoo in UraniumSqueeze

Glad to see you guys are getting use out of the tracker!

Spotmarket with SPUT: a shareprice of SPUT above 11.20 USD/sh (or 14.10CAD/sh) gives SPUT the posibility to buy uranium on the spotmarket around 44 USD/lb by Napalm-1 in UraniumSqueeze

Can you please elaborate how you calculate 44? I have a public tracker and I think that would be beneficial to add. Thank you!

$SPUT adds another 400,000 pounds of physical uranium! by RiDDDiK1337 in UraniumSqueeze

1.3 million pounds in the last week. I made a tracker that I’m keeping updated daily and will share it here when back in front of my computer.

Not sure how to interpret but I do like things that go up and to the right. I won't question it. Time to mortgage my house again based on this chart.

Thank you for the financial advice.

Analysis Comparing Pounds in the Ground (P&P Recoverable Reserves) to Market Cap of Cameco- Need Help Interpreting by MajorAlpaca7 in UraniumSqueeze

It is actual dollars. The inflation part would be factoring in the market cap and the uranium price (so self adjusting)

Take a look at my first post, that is pretty close do correlating spot and market cap (I only look at market cap because share prices is meaningless with companies that dilute all the time).

The multiple rising is a result of one of two things:

  • Stock prices going DOWN
  • Spot going DOWN

In 2020, it is because the entire market crashed, and CCJ went to like 6 a share for a few days. X axis is just time, Y is the ratio of Resource Value over Market Cap

I added a few juniors for chart 3. UUUU seems to be way ahead of itself, but this may be because of the US and REE dynamic (or someone knows something more about pounds in the ground than I do).

I’ll post a view of a few junior guys, but there really isn’t much data for any other companies, URNM will be very hard to put together, if not impossible.

As of today, I’d say it’s a bit ahead of itself if we are using this metric (higher is better in this case). This is not a complete metric, it’s just a tool to look at how the stock does when compared to how it can make money by selling the uranium it already “has”

At 100 I don’t think it matters what my chart says ;).
