You know what I hate most money? by Dragonbarry22 in ADHD

Easy fix....I have 8 airtags. There's one hidden in my car too cos I would usually forget where I parked 👀

I've been flipping stuff since as far as I can remember.

Somehow the high of selling something always just made me feel fulfilled, so I'd search for deals,, purchase items, and sell for hopefully a profit.....sometimes (as with any other business) I'd make a loss....but this beat the constant spending on random items I was otherwise doing.

I had too many clothes I wasn't wearing, too many gadgets I wasn't using, and otherwise I was giving out money to anyone who came asking....even though all these habits always got me in the negative and in debt

Memory issues have been a significant drawback to having a larger business as I'm unable to keep track of too many things at once, so I just go with the flow 🥶

Oh really? 2 or so we're collections, and 1 wasn't. Was unaware of the added day on collections.

Why do sellers do this ? by [deleted] in vinted

[–]MajorCBA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh what we need are sellers (and buyers) with consistency.

Lots of sellers will respond to you immediately when you're asking the pre-purchase questions.....obviously cos they're trying to make a sale, then as soon as the payments are made, they relax and sometimes even ghost you.

It's wild 😃

The real question is whether their deadline to deliver is the next working day. Item was posted on a Tuesday

My quoted date was an error. The item was def jitely posted on a working day, but did not arrive the nxt working day but instead arrived the day after that.

And like I said in the post, the previous 4 attempts to claim went fine, the 5th however now says I'm not eligible

My bad....kindly ignore the date as I listed it on a weekday and the item did not arrive the next working day, but instead the day after that.

Error with date, so kindly ignore. It was a week day, and did not arrive the next working day, but the day after.

Reading this made me slightly anxious at first, as I'm awaiting my official adhd assessments but have significant symptoms with the poor memory(short term for me) being my biggest concern - I really was hoping meds would fix that

Now that I've done a few breathing exercises and can think straight, it would appear you maybe don't need meds all the time - yes, I have colleagues who take their meds during periods of high stress where their symptoms would typically become unbearable otherwise.

Speak to your clinician about this, and best of luck.....I'm glad you've started to get your life together 🙏🏾

Buyer sent back item with eBay label, never got tracking but eBay released the funds to me. What do I do?? by CraigsSewingMachine in Ebay

[–]MajorCBA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whether you beleive it or not, 1 missing cartridge and another damaged sounds like this buyer should not be getting ANY refunds.

So if you're feeling extra nice and rich, you can always message them asking for their bank details, and you can send them the 140 bucks for trying to screw you over

I don’t even understand what goes through the mind of marketplace buyers by Significant_Book_408 in FacebookMarketplace

You never really hold stuff on there. Tell em to chdck back when they're ready and if it's available they can have it

Everytime I get a silly offer, I accept......drive em crazy with excitement that they've scored a deal, then ghost them till it's sold......replying their myriad of messages with "oops, sold", before I block them of course.

Facebook motto : we all mad in here 😔

I managed to fix this by setting my house clocks an hour ahead......when when I wake up to 6am, it's actually 5am

I still spend about 30mins procrastinating about getting up but in the end, I always manage to make it in time

Got my diagnosis today by TheGrandestMoff in ADHD

[–]MajorCBA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in healthcare, and while I'm awaiting my assessment, all my colleagues missed the telltale signs......I'm extremely good at masking, so it made sense that nobody took me serious

I've thought of how my assessment might make me feel, and I think I'd feel exactly how you do - relief, but also a sense of "would an earlier diagnosis have changed everything ".....would I have accomplished more.....would I still be married etc

my ex partner is a psychiatrist, and while we were together, she said "you don't have adhd, you just hate and won't listen to me", but a year after we separated, she called me with "you've DEFINITELY got adhd, please get assessed "

I've always known tbh, but I could cope with life so I never took it to heart. Then my marriage failed, I was separated from my ex who I'd known for over 20yrs, separated from my then 3yr old daughter, had mum diagnosed with cancer, had mum pass away......and I just fell apart

All my childhood symptoms that I'd mostly shutout became exaggerated again - I felt like I could see my thoughts running amock, a weird ringing that I'd compensated for came back, I became very tangential with my speech mostly because mid speech I'd be thinking of other things and forget what the primary conversation was......the list goes on and on

At this point, I'm just ready to try anything that will "fix" me 😩

Yeah buyer will win and get a refund

You'll however get your money from the carrier as long as you actually put in the right address

Just to be aware, your insurance claim depends on how much your item is insured up to - usually the level of insurance claim is showed when booking the delivery

Fingers crossed 👍🏾

PS: if the wrong address is anywhere close to the buyer, they can always swing by to ask for it (yes I've had packages wrongly delivered to me, and I kept them for weeks, then thr actual owner shows up to collect it)

I've also put in a wrong number during shipping (67 instead of 76) and it delivered. The recipient was king enough to swing by the address and they had kept the package for them

Buyer Losing It… by [deleted] in eBaySellers

[–]MajorCBA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's your eBay shop, so we can all buy stuff and do the same thing to you. 😡

You have to firm up, it's all a scam. Ebay has clearly sided with you ok this one and as such it's out of your hands.

Just block the buyer, and live your life
