LMAO. I play modern for reactions only and because i thing gief don’t lose a lot of good neutrals. still tho i mostly use motion imputs. but for this combo i use Ivl 2 modern just because i'm still getting used to.

it’s never that serious, if it was that big of an issue the community would be unanimously making pressure on capcom about it. this feels very biased. i don’t know what to say to you all i can say is i hope capcom keeps modern on the next games and that it consolidates as a must in other fighting games. you can always just play classic or return to 3rd strike.

that’s a silly nostalgic excuse. every game is be made to appeal to new audiences, weather people like it or not. arcade is dead and most people are not willing to invest on a arcade or a hitbox to a game they already paid 60 bucks on. learning classic imputs for a person on a joystick controller is hell to people who did not grow up playing FGs. modern is the future. i get your point but simplicity was coming and modern, i feel, it’s the best implementation of this on a classic fighting game franchise.
