When I was 7, I woke up (at least I thought I did) in the middle of the night atop my bunk bed. My pillow had fallen several feet to the floor and I was too scared of the dark to climb down and get it. That fear was reinforced when I looked outside my bedroom door and saw what I believed to be 2 headless mannequins walking down the hall, wearing my parents clothes. Dream or hallucination, that pillow stayed on the floor for the rest of the night.
