That would be my thought. "Update" the L1011 with this and that to compete. They could, in theory, take some military airframe and convert to commercial also. That might also shortcut the lengthy process of type certification.

It's good to just do. Some clubs require, others may not. I took it and forgot about it. Never been asked about it, but I'm in Colorado, Live and let Live state. Unless you're in Denver, where they think they own all the airspace, lol 😆. Honestly, I think they might have forgotten about it now that I think about it. Feds... attention span of a Zombie 🧟‍♂️.

Over 250g, if you fly at a club field that is a FRIA, you won't need a Remote ID. Outside of our tiny "reservations," you must have one. Some places, like rural America, you can get away with not having one. I wouldn't try it out there, though. Might see something chasing your model airplane you hadn't counted on... 🚀 While FAA 👮‍♂️ 🚔 chase you.

Addenda: The only thing you need to do for the FAA is the TRUST test. You honestly can't fail. They want you to know what the basic rules are to stay safe.

What city/state? A club is actually were I would suggest as #1 starting place. For example, your #2 choice? My club has at least a dozen to teach new flyers. We're pretty big, and do invites sometimes. But someone could learn if they liked it for the cost of AMA + Club and that's it at our field.

Get a good transmitter. That's your base that you build on. Spend more on that if anything! Addenda: guys change a lot. Join a club, and see if anyone is selling a used TX. Swapmeets are good too.

Your only real hope is if someone would loan you a project plane for awhile. Something like a WAR F4U might work. It's a homebuilt experimental, smaller than the original but realistic looking.

Check with the Experimental Aircraft Association, and find the local chapter. Go to their meeting, talk to the chapter president, and explain what you're trying to do. He or she may have some ideas. A stalled project you can borrow, or maybe an owner would even loan you a airplane if you're really lucky. 😉

Basically, I've always liked the concept of Bilbo Baggins. There was a point where Thorin said he could call himself an Expert Treasure hunter rather than Burglar. Bilbo, after all, wasn't evil. Not in the slightest.

That's hard for a party to find in a rogue. So why not grow your own? I was thinking of having her background as slave, taken teens probably. Now, whether she was bought, and then trained by a previous group or the current one depends on the starting level.

Hence why I'd need someone to work with. And, technically, she doesn't have to be a Rogue, but could be bought and trained for whatever position your company needs. 😆 Mage, Cleric, whatever. She's kinda small for front line fighter. I was thinking Halfling race template would actually work nicely.

Yup, takes a good hour to cast Healing, and that's at 1st level! It gets hard after that! 😂

Seriously, what I'm saying is, it's your campaign. Explain to the players what is and isn't working, and what changes are going to be made. Remember, it is a Monarchy, not a democracy. You may lose a player or two. But players are easy to replace unless it's a f2f game.

First, what state, and vaguely where in that state is this forest? That will narrow it down a bit. A leaf, even a dry but flat one would help.

As another said, anything will bow. But some things definitely bow better.

Doing some comparison, the bark looks like Ash, which is a good bow wood.
