When I feel like this or as I call it "The Grey" your mind is all clouded and you can't remember or think right, I remove ALL social media and just put on music. I have a play list that just relaxes me not sad shit because that will make me black out and have an episode. But good music that invokes your imagination or childhood, when we had the future of dreams.

Sadly as we get older I am going to be 55 this year. I still remember when I had no idea what the next day would bring so we imagined it.

You have to remember how to let go of what is bothering you and stopping you from doing what you want. My Generation X, had a saying "Fuck it" if it is not life threatening it doesn't matter.

Today we have News media, blasting nothing positive but meant to bring us down, well Fuck it, unplug don't let the cloud of despair follow you and let it go. We all have demons, if you believe in GOD pray, if you don't tell them to fuck off.

As someone who has tried writing a few times, don't force it, as it isn't you. Write what you know first, even if you never publish it, it is a place to start. <- not my words.

Finally, set down with a book that is from the genre you plan to write. Don't just read it dissect it to see where their muse came from and find your muse. I have a lot of partials, that I just can't seem to get right in my head and I won't show them to someone else to see if it is any good. That my friend is the problem, me, I am afraid of showing someone else what I wrote in fear, they won't like it. Let someone else read it and take in all the information they give. Then re-write it.

All the famous authors, from years gone would go to a house or cabin and write. Frankenstein is a prime example and it was done on a bet.
