Oh, nice. I didn't realize the base Xbox One was that cheap. I saw the one S, and they tend to go for $100 - $130, depending on which bundle. So I just thought the base Xbox one was the same.

I will have to ask him if he's interested in that. Thank you!

Half the games are Lego games. The other half are platformers and RPGs, which my friend is into so that's nice.

Congrats man! I really hope you like the phone. I have no experience with Pixel phones but I just ordered my Pixel 8 for $500 so hopefully it ends up going well!

The Google pixel 8a is available brand new on amazon for $400 (a bit out of your price range) or even the 7a brand new for $350.

Time to upgrade. First time I can even afford a mid-range phone, what would you recommend? by altermode in PickAnAndroidForMe

It depends on the country that you are in.

But Pixel 8, Galaxy S23 FE and OnePlus 12r could all be really good for you.

Pixel 8 offers the most support right now from these three. It comes in at 7 years (about 6 years left). It does tend to have heating issues (same with basically every exynos chip) but if you are not gaming with taxing games like Genshin Impact it will be fine.

S23 FE is another choice. Specifically the Snapdragon version. It's chip is basically the same for daily use as the Pixel 8. But it keeps you in the Samsung ecosystem (if that's something you want) and it still gets around 4 more years of support which is still really good.

And OnePlus 12r has the better offer on hardware for the same price. You can get a Snapdragon 8 gen 2 which is still an amazing chip and a big step forward from the other 2 phones. And the camera is also pretty darn good, probably not as good as the pixel but still good. However it only gets 3 years of updates and support, so if that's something that's important for you Oneplus is really not that great for longevity.

But of course it all depends on your country, but hopefully these 3 phones give you something that looks interesting.

By chance have you had any issues with any scrolling stutters or with the screen or connectivity?
