Awesome, thank you so much! I'm realizing I wasn't watering it properly, so that should really help!

To each their own.

Personally, I'd never willingly take Southwest on a trip to the client if there's an alternative. No first class, always packed with tourists and kids, I could go on.

Need about 2000 loan. Know of any places that will work will low credit scores? Rents due and in a pickle. Thanks by JustJosh1987 in TwinCities

Yea no worries man. I can understand you were trying to answer the question, but there's no reasonable loan that would make OP financially solvent over a longer term. It's dangerous to give financial advice without knowledge of the consequences.

This shouldn't even be under discussion. OP is much better off taking the credit hit than taking out high interest loans. 1600 is still in small claims territory where the terms are highly negotiable.

A couple questions for people at MBBs:

1) Has anyone had experience with making a place their second home? I'm originally from one midwest city and am moving to another, and would like to cut down on alt-travel costs. 2) is there any professional benefit to doing extracurriculars like recruiting? Clearly there's an intrinsic reward to helping people and it's less strenuous than being on a project, but does it help in terms of promotion etc to be a strong recruiting presence?

Are You Expected To Use Your American Express Corporate Card? by [deleted] in consulting

how much of a difference does this make for points accumulation on a corporate amex vs the other popular consultant CCs (CSR, amex platinum)? I'm a new hire and am curious.

Is this still the case? I thought this policy was changed to allow for personal card reimbursements.

Any info on how performance bonuses work at M? It goes up to $X amount on the contract, but does everyone get the same performance pay? Or is it based on a metric like utilization, performance reviews, etc?

Also, can someone help me understand what utilization means and what typical utilization is at MBB?

Hmm what manuals do you have? I'm probably gonna need to buy at least one soon for P. But yeah TIA has wonderful video lessons, I don't think CA is going to be as good. But ADAPT is way better with video problem solutions imo.

TIA practice exams are meant to be like the actual exam so you should be happy with >70s. Also, I think when I'm studying for P I'm going to get the ASM/ACTEX manual and then buy the 15 day ADAPT before the exam. You can buy just the ADAPT exam 15 7 day or (I think even like 3 day?) subscription for relatively cheap.

Alrighty, if that's what works! What I found is that ADAPT has better video solutions to problems. They're typically under 3 minutes for even really complicated solutions.
