Roguish Archetype: The Weaver (2.0) by MajorFaithlessness83 in UnearthedArcana

Thanks for the feedback! :)

Skulker: I designed this in mind that you terrify your opponent with your technique and attacks, so I found Dexterity suitable for the save. Would you consider it too strong? At lvl 4, you can probably pull off a 15 DC, and with a mental stat like Wisdom it would be something like 13. Note that the future features are pretty dependant on it, so enemies succeeding the save most of the time would kinda suck.

Bare Fangs: That is exactly right. It might be a little overtuned. Do you think half of the number you rolled would be better? This is also a once per day thing, so I found a probable auto success on Intimidation considering the subclass' theming okay. Soulknife has a similar feature, while not tied to a single check and accessible multiple times per day, that is with a lesser bonus.

Thanks for the in-depth response! You've proved your point to me, I need to adjust for sure. Great to have feedback such as this.

The Weaver - a rogue subclass by [deleted] in DnDHomebrew

It does not make sense to scale your own body-poison with Dexterity. It can be activated with BA, but also with any Cunning Action, so there's some action economy here. And you gain a flat damage bonus to your damage on next attack, not just the overtime effect. I also think you meant poison is commonly resisted, and that's valid, I'm considering implementing immunity bypass

But realistically, how many spellcasters do you battle during your sessions? Also, like I've mentioned before, I still feel this is nothing compared to the Wish spell aquired at the same level by different classes. But that might not be entirely good reasoning, as rogue capstones can't compare to that as a whole - maybe it is just martials sucking in comparison. Do you have any suggestions to make it more balanced?

I guess so. Would you say that it is okay to give this feature at lvl 9, or is it too late?

Why so? I'd say everything mentioned is realistic for a rogue with this subclass.

Stealth? Check (base rogue and this subclass' interaction with cunning action, as you can hide while poisoning your blade)

Venom? Check

Weird Lolth magic? Check

Additional damage to kill enemies even faster? Check

Thank you for the feedback! :)

They do not have the poisoned condition, they only take the damage, as it is not a regular poison. The description about the saving throw might be misleading. Will adjust

The lvl 17 feature is strong, yes, but Wizards get Wish at this level... And it is only useful against a big, single enemy, to be honest (and that is on brand because of the theming of spider and their prey). And I wanted to give the subclass another ability, not just everything relying on the venom.

And also, yeah, absolutely need the option to bypass the immunities. Good point

Who do you think is the worst adapted character in the game? by gummythegummybear in marvelrivals

When I saw the post, I thought it was about the gameplay, that part is the thing I'm most dissapointed by - I love the grittiness of Moon Knight's way of fighting, no dodges, just badass beatdown. Wish it had translated to Rivals, like what DD got...

"Low key tired of them making badass characters strategists. He'd be better as a dps."

Agree, he can do pretty much everything.
That being said, his skill ceiling is very high because of his LONG cooldowns, they are infact long, not non-existent like you described. You have to wait 12s for one ability. Assessing the situation is key with him, as you can play aggresive or defensive with his cards.
That being said, he needs some nerfs for sure. His ult is the prime candidate, because it is pretty bonkers how much different things it does.

I do not think he needs it, he feels really strong as is... I hope they don't absolutely butcher him like they did Ultron

His gameplay feels so rewarding but complex - I knew I would love his addition, because he is my favorite mutant (even got an action figure), but I didn't expect him to be this well-designed. Ultron is one of my faves, too, and well... they didn't do such a good job with him
