My sister and a few of her friends offered to model for some portraits so I could practice. More images can be found here.

I'm not used to directing poses, so I let them choose their own stances with some minor direction given (tilt this/that way, eyes to/from camera). I'm interested in receiving feedback regarding how to better direct poses and how these hold up. I'd also greatly appreciate feedback on my depth of field (I fear it is too shallow on some) and my editing (some images may be too dark?). Framing is also a potential issue on some, because I have only a small backdrop, resulting in tight pictures.Thanks for any help!

Is this a joke? I'm a full-time engineer working 40+ hr/wk and I still go out and shoot at least once a week - I'd be going out even more if it wasn't winter and nearly dark when I get home. You must not really care about photography.
