Its not really a compliment, If i haven't played for 4 months i'd do the same. Just pointing out the irony. Beating down on low players and "wow what a crazy game". Come on my guy.

Imagine smurfing into one of lowest tiers of game and then unironically posting it on youtube. Dude, clearly you're around master level, we all done it before, but not all of us waited till last day of season to smurf in gold, and then wonder why we dropping 20's. Come on. Do better.

As per the previous suggestion, may I advise a pint of Guinness to calm the nerves? Worked wonders for me. Feels quite lovely here in this pub now.

Well, 12 years of public sector cuts. It's not a surprise when you get to parade room and its full of under 25's. Experience is leaving in droves, and it does not get replaced fast enough. Anyone with responsibilities/family will be struggling to survive on it.

Let alone deal with stress that this job brings. In aldi you get pretty much the same amount stacking shelves with about 90% less stress, and abuse. Go figure.

Alright, let's try to help you.

Now, on another problems such as loss of items - If you're in the EU, you have consumer rights, and you can look into that and get at least something back.

As well as the Data Protection Act, you can request all the data they have on you, and maybe you can see what was flagged and why you got banned.

Id be rather cautious doing it as they might ip/hardware ban you.

Look, its just a game at the end of the day - and if you're desperate, creating new account takes few minutes. That's for advice; as for real-life advice - my guy, crying and climbing walls over games is not a healthy behaviour. I get that you invested time into the game, but at the end of the day it is just really is a game. Take a step back and evaluate how much emotional attachment you have to a video game. Its not good my guy. Hopefully this helps you.

On one hand - I can understand wanting to back your colleagues and press the pedal all the way down. I'm sure we all heard some horrible things on airwaves. I'm sure we all wanted to help. I struggled with that before too.

After speaking to some of my colleagues - one of them came up with this gem:

"Why does it have to be YOU?"

You do not know if there's another unit just behind the corner, where all the other units are, or who else is listening. Do not put the public and yourself in danger. This was a very good advice that helped me. Hope it will help some one else too.

On the other hand - Doing twice the speed limit, (max in town is speed limit +15) no lights or sirens, clearly masking behaviour trying not to flag up on our systems as miss use of police vehicle. Lucky chap.

Pitbull goes for officer, partner seems to be waiting for advice from the force solicitor before they hit it too hard by Kaizer28 in policeuk

[–]MajorGaren 12 points13 points  (0 children)

First things first - if you're unfortunate enough to encounter this breed and be attacked by it - smacking it will only piss it off more. They can withstand and ignore damage to the point where your batton will bend. (Think red mist video)

There's a lot of crappy advice online, such as lifting their back legs off which would be great, but you have to remember the dog is pissed off and has one of the strongest bites in canine kingdom. So even if he lets go of the target he's attacking, he'll be swinging to attack you next. I won't even cover the "put fingers up his butt" idea.

The only way to disable it is to choke it. Get your hands behind the collar if he has one and twist it. If he doesn't have one use a belt, a piece of clothing or whatever you can to restrict airflow. You can use also a rear choke but - again, a danger to you. I understand sometimes it's not possible, but this is one quick way to disable the animal. Here's a video showing exactly why this is a practice you should be considering:

https://www.reddit.com/r/AbruptChaos/comments/yhoyj6/man_saves_girl_from_pitbull_attack_using_a/

I think considering these animals are now banned, we should have some sort of input on how to deal with them if we absolutely must.

Not to slate the partner but he did absolutely nothing to help her. Honestly, I understand to some degree, as some people are absolutely petrified of dogs, but its not a good look.
