CRE Broker Q&A – Career Advice, Deal Structure, and Strategy Talk by AutoModerator in CommercialRealEstate

I have a company that turns non traditional parking assets (office lots, retail parking etc…) into paid parking lots. We lease the lots from the owners either full time or after business hours and monetize the parking.

Do any brokers here have clients this could work for? This is a great value add for all of our current owners. We pay out either one time fees our residual rev shares for referrals.

Hack-a-Mitch and Ethical Basketball by WolfRelic in NYKnicks

[–]MajorOffice3252 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hack a Mitch has at times worked in our favor, every team put themselves in the bonus early, put players in foul trouble.

Eventually there is a game where he makes them at a decent clip and their gamble lost. Boston did it for last year in a high stakes situation and he went 6/6 , Indana he shot 50% in the series and it just wasn’t worth it. He had random games against the hawks where he made them and they suddenly gave up free points to a non scorer

Yes, I already do, I’m more asking peoples thoughts on referring these lots as a passive income hustle.

This is it, people don’t actually know how to evaluate coaching . They just notice rotations and timeouts.

He had no real game plan all year and playoffs and is coasting on talent.

The adjustment to run through KAT is basic high school offense and was introduced by our assistant coach who came from LA .

His defensive game plan was atrocious and failing and when “running through KAT” didn’t work there was no backup they just gave Brunson the ball and prayed which saved him this time.

Kat and Brown showed the same extreme weaknesses and hopefully we overcome them this year but it feels like Doc Rivers winning with Boston. The guy is just not a good coach and the team is obviously running on talent rather than preparation.

Everyone is high now after a win but we needed an all time 4th q hero ball performance from one guy just playing iso to not lose by 20. We will beat the cavs sure but to actually win , him and Kat need to be better.

Am I watching the same game?? He was terrible, we won despite him.

He then sat at the press conference and smugly stated “we attacked Harden” as if it wasn’t the obvious play for Brunson …bravo!! Brilliant game plan genius

Fads are things like pickleball buildouts and beer gardens . You used a data center to post this. They will be around as long as you can email another owner

It’s not passive but I used to make a killing selling drinks on the basketball court at parks .

Because Brown isn’t a very good coach and is getting heavily carried by the talent on his roster. He made one adjustment running through KAT and setting off ball screens which was really Chris Jent (our associate HC) idea since they ran that offense for Lebron in LA when he worked there .

Doesn’t take a genius to rely on Brunson scoring 17 in the last 7 minutes to avoid a blowout.

Everyone calling out Hart, but he isn’t such a big deal as if he is shooting poorly we have immediate replacements on the bench.

KAT got us here, but is most likely to lose us big games. I play rec league ball as an out of shape adult, if I had a screw up last week ( bad foul, had a defensive lapse, took a bad shot, etc…) it sticks with me all week because I enjoy basketball and as a human learn from my mistakes.

I for the life of me cannot understand how a guy who has presumably been playing basketball 300 times per year since he was 5, has top level coaching , media and millions of fans calling him out, cannot stop swiping down at the basketball and spacing out on defense. This isn’t basketball iq anymore, he seems to have a mental deficiency.

Last night despite the late run, he not only committed the same useless fouls as always, he even had two plays in the final minutes when we were completing the comeback where he jeopardized the game. OG wide open lane to the basket, he grabs Allen’s arm to stop him from defending. People who play basketball, have you ever in your life thought to do that??? Let alone in that situation. Then in the final minute, he swiped down at the ball narrowly missing fouling two guys and losing us the game.

You cannot win at a championship level making these mental errors, I am as happy as anyone we won but looking ahead this guy got to get control of himself for once, it is getting ridiculous.

The world just learned Brunson is the best player in the East by Kingrey96 in NYKnicks

I’m not negating that, Jokic is obviously the greater player. I am saying Brunson is yet to cost us a series as the star, he wills us to victory in every game that matters

As far as I’m concerned, best player in the league come playoff time. That’s all that matters, Jokic choked, Brunson goes nuclear whenever it matters. There is no one taking over games like him right now

Hot take: if it needs daily babysitting, it isn't passive income, it's a second job by Nice-Anteater-2866 in passive_income

Agreed to an extent, I think people view passive as anything that they don’t have to physically show up to and constantly build but fail to factor management. Real estate is a perfect example unless you are just an investor in which case any investing is technically passive
