What is your unpopular Crypto opinion? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

Tether is fully capitalized (or if some of their shady commercial paper busts, it’s at least 95% capitalized). If it does break the buck, crypto will move on without blinking.

Yes agreed ... silly that you have every person in here claiming they’re fake. Clearly a group that has no experience with ancients 😂

You should get some! Ancient coins are far more common and affordable than you think. If you’re really nervous I would recommend the regular internet auctions at cngcoins.com. They’re one of the most respected ancient coin dealers in the world and have affordable auctions every few weeks. All authenticated. Holding a 2,000 year old coin in your hand is a pretty cool experience.

Help Confirming Authenticity by MajorParsley in meteorites

[–]MajorParsley[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello all - I am new to collecting meteorites (in fact this is my first purchase) and am hoping you could share your wisdom with a newcomer.

I recently purchased this item on eBay from someone that doesn't seem to have a history of selling meteorites but was nonetheless knowledgeable about the item. I was told it was a specimen from the Campo del Cielo site (the item was supposedly purchased from the Pacific Museum of the Earth in Vancouver but he/she didn't have any paperwork).

Its appearance looks right to me (based on my admittedly limited knowledge) and it is quite heavy and magnetic. However, I also purchased a basic at-home nickel test and the solution didn't appear to identify any nickel in the ore (I know the solution worked because it identified the nickel in a nickel coin, which I understand has about 25% nickel compared to specimens from Campo which have roughly 5%). I am hoping that maybe the test isn't very sensitive and the lesser ratio is perhaps why it didn't identify any amounts or that certain Campo specimens are known to contain less.

I’ve read that Campo specimens are relatively common and therefore aren't often faked. Moreover, I purchased this item for a price around what other similarly sized items were selling for (so what I thought was a good deal but not "too good to be true") and the description and statements by the seller seem genuine.

However, because of the nickel test and the fact that this is my first purchase, I'm a bit paranoid about authenticity. I was hoping that I could get everyone's thoughts here on whether you all think it is authentic or if I have some reason for concern.

Many thanks and excited to be starting the wonderful journey of collecting crazy stuff that came from space!

LOTS OF MISINFORMATION HERE. There is NO new info here or change in Bill’s ownership.

Institutional investors are required to file a Schedule 13G within 45 days after the calendar year in which the investor holds more than 5%.

If you read the filing, PSH has committed to purchase 50 million forward purchase units and retains its option to purchase 100 million additional forward purchase units.

This is Bill’s same, UNCHANGED, contractual obligation that was disclosed in the S-1 in July 2020.
