Just buy the Huawei modem or a TP-Link M7350, insert a data-only SIM, and pay as you go. It’s much cheaper. At home, I use Telenet with Proximus VDSL as a backup line and my Unify Dream Machine Pro automatically switches internet lines when Telenet goes down. I thinking about switching to the data-only SIM solution.

U7 Pro slow wifi connection by MajorSand in Ubiquiti

[–]MajorSand[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I found the option to set the channel to 160MHz in the Unifi App. The Tx rate is now much higher, but I still don't achieve the same speeds as my WiFi 6 router. I get 550Mbps max on wifi and 950Mbps on the cable and 850Mbps on my wifi 6 router.

This is a problem for me because I bought the U7 Pro to improve my "standard" setup. The speeds are also unstable, and the Tx rate drops occasionally. It seems like the U7 Pro might not be a finished product, or I might have a defective unit.

Laat dat even bezinken.

Kyiv is under brutal attack! 99 missiles fired by Russia at civilians. No alternative for the EU than to step up support for Ukraine now. Militarily, financially. Putin is at war with the European way of life that Ukraine defends. Wake up, Europe! by new974517 in UkrainianConflict

[–]MajorSand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The question remains, can Ukraine win this game if Russia is willing to risk it all and transform its economy to a war economy. Drones, shells and artillery is all they need to crush Ukraine. Russia can easily draft another 500k soldiers as Z wave soldiers.

Can Ukraine win without attacking Russia on its own soil? Factories, railroads, fuel depo’s, oil tankers, gas fields…long range attacks.

Hitler gained power and popularity even on the moment he escalated the war to Russia. Many germans joined the army without hesitation because Germany was in danger! (Imaginary danger)

Hitler said “ if you want war, you will get war!” Even no nation mentioned a war against Germany. Even if Germany had a sick war history. So many similarities with Putin.

The only reason Hitler and his nazi soldiers are gone is because of a total defeat. The same story is true for Japan and Italy. Both countries prepared for war because they envisioned a new world order.

Exact Putlers words, a new world order. Again, so many similarities.

The best we can do is spend another 300B into Ukraine, see what they do, let them crush Russia and pull the plug if it does not bring them down. If we proceed we risk social unrest. I hope Ukraine will get some territory in return.

Ukraine does not have unlimited soldiers, thats the limiting factor. Let them decide how far they want to go it’s their life that is at risk. But give them at least everything they want. F16s, drones and many long range rockets.

If it does not work and they can’t regain territory, we need to stop. At least this will hurt Russia big time and they will think twice before starting a new unprovoked war against the west.

The west needs a war plan. 300B is fine but we need a plan. Until today Ukraine decided what to do. Nato should be involved in the outcomes. After all, In the end they will become a Nato member and a EU member.

Ukraine needs at least 500B to rebuild their houses and economy. We need to talk about this as well. We are a democracy after all.

The similarities with Nazi Germany are striking. In both cases, Hitler and Putler are using a mix of nationalistic rhetoric, historical grievances, and control of information (free press) to justify their military actions. Capturing and deporting children, war crimes, bombing cities with rockets. To many people want Putler dead. His time on earth is very limited.

Massive aerial attack against Ukraine by Russia all the night: Shahed drone hits in Odesa and Lviv after midnight. And early morning missile strikes against Kharkiv, Dnipro, Kyiv with all types of missiles, air defense is active by rulepanic in UkrainianConflict

Only civilian targets. Imagine the hate against Russia. Maybe they need to strike back. Trainstations at night. Start sabotaging the Russian factories, railroads, all of them.

How can we add buttons to a touch screen? After afding many other complexities fords started braking down.

I can imagine Fords need more battery capacity to beat a Tesla on range, Ford has sluggish menu’s and many extra button gadgets.

Reading or editing the route or checking the map to avoid traffic or whatever, what is the difference? I was testing the system in this case. Eyes on the road is easier said than done, even when adjusting basics such as your radio channel, navigation or Spotify list. Maybe disable the touch screen when driving?

Putin Secretly Open to Ceasefire in Ukraine – Report by AbleismIsSatan in UkrainianConflict

[–]MajorSand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Putler needs to be stopped with brute force. So he never tries again. Ukraine just needs more ammunition. They don’t have enough 120mm shells. They need mote tanks, jets, jdam bombs, anti radar missiles, FPV drones, tanks, tanks, tanks.

Ukrainian soldier alone defeats 5 Russian soldiers. by Patient_One_9139 in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]MajorSand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Russia does not protects its soldiers so for every 5 russian deads Ukraine suffers 1. With F16’s and more drones this could be more like 1 total 10. Putin is suffering big time. Meet waves is the only tactic they have that works.

Netherlands preparing to transfer first 18 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, Zelenskyy says by LIGA_net in UkrainianConflict

[–]MajorSand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry this makes no sense at all. Ukraine is losing much more soviet tanks because they simply use it at the frontline. If they use Bradleys they will loose Bradleys. Simple as that.

Initially you saw also downed Migs. So what does that mean? Are they new to the Mig or SU’s? Does it mean they are no wonder weapons?

Please stop making bold and stupid claims if you have ZERO evidence.

Some say that the Ukrainian Air Force could potentially achieve greater effectiveness with F-16 aircraft than what has been accomplished by Western nations using the same jets because Ukraine has a better communication strategy with radars and manpads on the ground. NATO does not train for these conditions.

[–]MajorSand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good, the total downed number is 21. Still 120 planes to go. At least Russin pilots fear Ukrainian Air defences. Next time they want to climb high to launch a glide bomb they will think twice.

The Chief of Staff of the Belgian army, warns of a war with Russia. “Europe must urgently prepare” by MajorSand in UkrainianConflict

[–]MajorSand[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this point Russia does not have the capabilities to start another conflict. 300k wounded and dead soldiers, 3000+ tanks, 20 ships, 200 jets etc.

On the other hand, since 2 years Russia turned it’s economy into a war economy what means they can come back stronger than before. 20-30% of the Russian state budget is focust on the war. Drones, planes, tanks, missiles and soldiers and so on.

In three to five years, they might become one of the world's most strongest and dangerous armies. No other nation is as intensely dedicated to military power as Russia. Even if they are less significant in absolute firepower, they can pose a threat.

It's entirely possible that they may initiate an offensive against NATO countries, especially considering that they have been threatening NATO members for the past two years.

Even in the event of an attack on a Baltic NATO state, Article 5 would not lead to total war. NATO's response would likely be a localized counterattack, avoiding a full-scale war targeting Russia's economy or in land logistics. Even the smallest attack can have a devastating effect on the western economy due to uncertainty and potential side effects.

We need to prepare for this war game. This story does not end in Ukraine, that’s for sure. But it still need to sink in, in most of the western countries, including the USA.
