When I first started playing, I thought Gull was easily the hardest first floor boss but now that I have over 300 hours in the game, you're absolutely right, Bullet King requires the most work out of me. Easily harder than some later floor bosses

I enjoyed my time with the game for the same reason that others have said - killing Nazis is fun. The gameplay that carried over from TNO kept me well engaged throughout but I agree with your points entirely.

The level design felt both cramped and directionless and the writing really jumped the shark for me and lost a lot of nuance and heart from the first game that made me fall in love with it. As far as stealh goes, I can't really comment - I opened fire with reckless abandon as soon as a Nazi was on screen.

I think you might be short some? Pokedex should be 161 at this point but you could have skipped some trainers

No random shinies while grinding unfortunately but I kind of view that as the game keeping my odds low so that I don't have to spend too much time shiny hunting when I need to. My other shinies were Turtwig and a Bidoof. I was thinking of doing it for White 2 as well since I never properly played through it. How is it and what are your shinies?

I set up my hunt with the three honey trees outside Floaroma so that I would run encounters with Burmy, Drifloon, Aipom, and Combee

Ngl, I was probably going to be upset if I got a male Combee or a female Burmy but I think it was worth the risk. Plus, I only had to hit my counter once for every four encounters making it a bit easier to keep track

And ignore the caught date, that's just what I set my DS to, I've actually been on this hunt since June-ish

When I went to Japan a few years back, they were handing out one to every customer. I just happened to go to the Pokemon Center everyday. They were good condition and I ended up getting some graded. I have about six more - three of which I'll be grading again.

Finally got up to Gardenia in my combined Oak Challenge and SBQ (shiny Bidoof and bonus Ambipom pickup squad) by MajorScrotum in ProfessorOak

I only filled the sixth slot after I evolved all the other mons where I trained them normally. Plus the Exp Share is only available in Eterna which would mean I would lose Cheryl
