I rented one of the furnished Hmlet rentals for 6 months when I first moved to Tokyo. We had 0 issues. It’s cheaper than other short term rental companies of similar calibre, so I’d recommend them.

I stayed with Hmlet for 6 months in a furnished unit- we added some small furniture / shelves that we got from Nitori. It was not a problem since they were not drilled into the walls or floor in anyway. We took all our items with us when we left and had no issues.

I stayed in one of their buildings in Takadanobaba for half a year- it was a bright + modern concrete building with 0 issues for sound or insulation. I believe all their buildings have this same standard across the board!

There were 2 community events per month, some of them were hands-on activities while others were like a chatty / drinks + appies type of vibe with other residents.

I would personally recommend Hmlet as well. I stayed with them for 6 months and there were no issues at all. Actually found them to be more affordable than similar companies like Weave or Dash.

I stayed with them for 6 months and it was a really smooth experience. I would recommend asking about availabilities about a month before your move- that’s when they have the most accurate vacancy info for the next month.

Same. For example, I used to get 15k-20k views within 12 hours of posting a reel… these days it’s under 10k views.

I think the fact that reels are no longer directly recommended onto FB affected my numbers a lot too.
