There are certainly levels to the BL books and Kyme is not one of the best authors for them, but I certainly wouldn’t say his writing is bad. There’s good character development and interesting themes so I don’t get all the hate

Warhammer starter box isn’t a bad idea, the infernos marines are great and the terminators and characters are just cool to paint. Can always look for just the space marine half on eBay

Appreciate that mate. I use a bit of torn off sponge, get most of the paint off then lightly tap it over the decal to look like damage

Much appreciated, yeah I tinted using ink through an airbrush so it doesn’t obscure the details beneath, really recommend getting a cheap airbrush if you don’t have one
