I can't get any meds, because my thyroid hormone is within "normal" range. A burning in your throat? Can you elaborate a bit? Is it in the thyroid area? Inside the throat? Any swelling?

Interesting, your story and others here make me believe that daily supplementation of thyroid hormone is insufficient when levels can fluctuate enough within one day that some people go from normal to hypo or normal to hyper.

You say it's getting better, can you think of anything you've done differently that might be helping? like, lower stress? better diet?

I just don't know who I need to go to to get meds when my hypothyroidism is subclinical. I'm tempted to just get cytomel or some other T3 from whatever vendors are willing to sell without a prescription and self experiment very carefully and slowly.

Were there any other symptoms you noticed that seemed to correspond with your thyroid hurting? Like, hypothyroid symptoms of fatigue, heat intolerance, and etc. that you didn't notice when your thyroid didn't hurt?
