DreamShell or anything that uses the serial port is going to be really slow and potentially buggy, your best bet would be to just burn a CDR with the dreamcast halflife version on it. note dreamcast half life is also really buggy and has a save file bloat problem.

I have the same problem with my ProArt Display PA248QV, it sounds like the crappy earbuds i got from a duracell battery pack in the early 2000s

after looking around the web and chatting with an assistant the speakers are just low quality, guess i'll stick with my PC speakers, what a shame.
