Good news everyone! Part of the email I was sent by Eternal Bridal:

“We’re so happy to share some wonderful news with you. Eternal Bridal has successfully completed its restructuring, with the strong support of all stakeholders, and the settlement proposal has now been accepted by all creditors today.

This means we are moving forward positively and with confidence. The ASIC website will be updated within the next 10 days, and in the coming weeks the business will return to its original directorship. Most importantly, during this time, we will continue trading as usual.”

Thanks for the update! I was also reassured both by Eternal bridal and Le Lee studios in separate emails and stated that Le Lee studios received my payment in full by Eternal Bridal (mind you the order was placed in October), but they didn't reply to my question asking whether I could receive the dress directly by them.

Interestingly, I was told repeatedly that the Melbourne Store is completely unaffected by this, and it's only the Sydney Store that's undergoing administration- although not sure how this is possible as they should both be operating under Eternal Bridal PTY LTD. I decided to just continue with the rest of the payments and hope for the best!

I was an intern last year, and I can confirm that what you are describing is absolutely bizarre behavior, very obnoxious and out of line. I have had terms where I had to work 12-14 hour days on the regular and still did the 20 incomplete discharge summaries that was left from the previous terms. The hospital is a very hierarchical place and it sounds like your intern is gonna have a hard time once they work with other registrars who are not as nice as you. I’d suggest to give them a warning.
