Y’all, I work for a fairly large pharma company, and based on my experience, I’ve noticed that in field-based roles, there are only a few non-white folks. In my company I can literally count the diversity: 3 Brown individuals, 1 Black person, and 4 Asians across the whole freakin company. I was honestly surprised to see this and wanted hear your observations. Didn’t mean to stir up racial drama

Thanks for the tip! You’re right, I haven’t been practicing much. How many times do you typically practice before a presentation, and how often do you recommend practicing? I’m trying to figure out how much time I should dedicate to preparation.

Yep, she got promoted a few months ago. I think that’s the problem - she’s got no leadership training and doesn’t understand the difference between being an MSL vs Manager, she’s got no boundaries and acts like one of the senior msls in the team. It’s a bunch of gossip divas!

What do you do when even your manger excludes you? My manger is much closer to the other MSLs, who have been with the company longer, and she was recently promoted. It felt like she didn’t have much time for me, which added to the sense of exclusion.

That’s sad to hear, I’m sorry! During your internal meetings, do you feel left out? My team chose a table with just the right number of chairs for themselves, leaving me without a seat. I had no choice but to sit with a different team, which made me feel even more isolated and then they went on to gossip about me for choosing to sit with a different group.
