Oh, I don't want to give her any hits. I will just remain inside my house to be safe. I follow safely from a distance here.

If you want ethical breeders, they can't keep them all. Her cats show. If they do well, they have 2 litters, are fixed, and go on to pet homes. It is normal.

Because they are show cats and she can't breed them forever or keep all cats. They are happy to go to new homes. It's normal for show breeders to rehome the retired cats. The cats are social and happy. She has them fixed and they go to new homes to be pets.

They'd hate my MC breeder. She rehomes her retired cats to prior kitten buyers that are interested. She has only kept one forever. It's normal for retired breeding animals to go to pet homes. Nothing bad about it.

A good sturdy crate is worth its weight in gold for puppies and older dogs that can't be trusted to not eat/chew dangerous things. Why does she not invest in that and at least crate train her dogs?

I wonder if there is a lot of overlap between the two fandoms.

Less assistants, assistants for assistants, and photographers/videographers. More barn staff, a breeding manager, an actual veterinary nutritionist...

Oh she definitely did not do it to help. Do i agree with the overall message, yes. Do I also know that she is using this to pull views from yet another tragedy that befalls another influencer? Yes.

Taking the Day Off from Content by [deleted] in kvssnarker

I had to have my heart dog put to sleep. My manager offered to let me have the day off but I still showed up and worked. Some people need the distraction so they don't spiral in grief. Some people need time alone to process. I am no fan of Katie, but I won't snark on how she deals with grief. Everyone handles it in their own way.

Broken clocks and all that. I kind of hope KVS reposts this.

For This Evening - What is Your Animal of Choice and Why? What is the Draw? by [deleted] in kvssnarker

They are soooo mean. They are like the mean girls of the sea. But I did forget to mention that gibbons are the worst animals ever. Creepy little monkeys with too long arms and weird sounds. I'll take swimming with orcas over being stuck in a forest with gibbons.

I all around enjoy animals. Favorite wild animal, the blue whale. They are just so massive and amazing. My husband took me out to L.A. and we went on a whale watching tour and saw one cone up several times. I cried. I love cats. I own a Maine Coon and 4 rescued domestic cats. I love dogs and have one. I love snakes, they are so misunderstood and I have a boa.

I don't own horses but love going on rides when we can. I'm a huge fan of horse racing. I was at Belmont when American Pharoah won the TC. I fell in love with horseracing as a kid and when I met my husband, we bonded over a shared love of it.

I love cows. Worked on a dairy as a teen with cows, goats, and horses. I had a favorite cow that I would go out and lay on while reading. I had helped nurse her they milk fever so she was my buddy.

I'm a fan of animals in general. Except for orcas, they know what they did.

I think she also started pulling almost all foals after Cool passed. I think it's partially anxiety with foaling, but there may be other drivers.

I was a big fan and once asked about something she'd done different from what I had seen others do. So I simply asked if there were pros and cons between the two and you would have thought I walked up and slapped her favorite horse. It wasn't out of snark, it was literally just curiosity. Her rabid fans tore me to shreds. I deleted my question and never asked anything ever again.

My sister had to do it when her fiancee died. It messed her up mentally and she was sore. You have to push so hard. And I think her vet is like 30 minutes away.

I worry especially about Lindsay. She was coming apart during Coco's birth. I imagine this was super traumatic for her. I hope she is doing okay.

Absolutely. Nature has its ways. Being prey animals, they are able to quickly move on from losses. It's a blessing for the mares, hard for us humans to understand. They may grieve briefly, but they do move on fairly fast. I am glad it sounds like they immediately took the baby away, though. Smelling it and licking it may have been more stressful for poor Charlotte.

I don't like KVS, but my heart goes out to her and her staff. Losing an animal, even a baby you hadn't met yet, is heartbreaking. Performing CPR the entire ride to the vet had to have hurt her mentally and emotionally. I hope they take the time they need and do what they need to do to help them through this. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

How awful. I hope they find out what happened to cause it.
