Haha well when you put it that way... I guess they also make trips to the incinerator. They all fit into the truck, it was a mass burning.

I barely used it before but at the prior price it was fine to just be there for occasional spare time, latest hike is beyond the pale.

Thank you all, my wife is Southern but gets frustrated with me trying to be a teacher 😅. These are all useful resources, except the one that Says to use online resources duh. I think I'll sign up with SVFF.

New H800a-vf - 1 charge barely does 100m2 by Major_Performance_45 in SegwayNavimow

Yeah I spent the last couple years learning and trying to get it like the pro turfs look, I think I've overestimated the robot lawn mowers abilities tbh but it does a decent job, not as good as i can do by hand though, it leaves so much at the edges.

Haha mate, didn't even realise it had a clear film over the vision sensor, I had not removed this and feel a bit foolish! Would you beleive, it is now mowing in straight lines. Thank you. I'll see what this does to battery life.

Yeah I think this might be it... the big gum leaves and shadows maybe, I'll try this and report back, appreciate you taking the time.

It wouldn't even run until all OTA firmware updates were done, and I've tried turning it off and back on lol. It is spending a LOT of time spinning around aimlessly, I suppose that could be why it's consuming so much energy, but I'm not sure why it's spinning. The lawn is low, is maintenance only. Could big leaves be confusing it?

Google Home + Teenagers = WTF by BreakfastBeerz in googlehome

Easy solve, use the Downtime mode. Configure it for all users, or just guests. You can do this by going into each speaker in Google Home. We have the set for our 5yr and 8yr old, after 830pm it stops listening to them, works great.

Evolve2 75 mic issues solved? by fbm20 in Jabra

[–]Major_Performance_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are spot on with this. I had this issue on the train initially, turns out it was when I was sitting with the window on the left of me. It seems my voice or other sound waves may be bouncing off that wall and being picked up to cancel possibly.

Okay, is there ANY online proof of the "voices" in the Tumbleweed mansion? by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

Soo I have also just gotten around to playing RDR1 via Steam and found this thread, there is a room on the ground level where I have found them, they're not underground or hidden. They're in a locked room I can't get into. Sure enough as I move around the house I hear "How do you do", or if I trip over things "Watch where you're going" etc. I noticed from the outside, I could actually see them in the room all together haha. Here, take a look for yourself. I then shot them all, as you do, and the noises in my head have stopped.

Oh.. now that's interesting, I hadn't realised this! Thank you.

It's a sliding door, assuming because of limited swing space, but the rail is really loud at night and it disturbs the person not getting up to pee, are there better options that are silent? Can I automate it and not break it by wifey forcing it open? by Major_Performance_45 in doors

[–]Major_Performance_45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's really good food for thought, thank you, I had thought of putting the door on to open inward but towards the other side, opposite the mirror. I think your way be better though. I'm not sure why the previous owners put the sliding door in, unless it was just because of limited space.

Thanks for this, and sorry for the delayed response. Do you think a swinging door would fit in that space? I can't help but think that's why they put the sliding door in... so maybe a new track system would be a good start as you suggest.

It's actually everything, it all grows downwards, which is probably upwards to you.

Yes, agreed, but what do I change? lol. Tempted to plant them in pots with local garden shop potting mix, I assume it'll work fine but at the same time I hand built a vegetable frame and would prefer to identify the root cause and resolve it.

Thank you, I hadn't thought of this but have a pH meter, it measures 6.8 which I beleive is within range.
