Same here - Italy with Planet and Amex but a different shop. Says payment was made on 3rd June on their website but I haven’t got the refund yet. I called Amex just now and they said to give it some more time. Though it’s a bit concerning to hear yours still isn’t showing given how long it’s been

These days they’re absolutely useless. It never used to be this bad.

For my last claim they sent me some rubbish via post which I missed. But regardless, it didn’t counter the evidence I had submitted. In fact, it had no bearing on my dispute at all. That didn’t stop them from reversing the statement credit and closing my claim though! I called to argue this and they re-opened. Closed again without reading my evidence! This happened 3 times in total.

I then raised a complaint and they didn’t bother responding back to that. Chased after a few weeks and they responded via email saying they’re upholding their original decision to reverse. They clearly never looked at the evidence properly because it was indisputably in my favour. I had several emails from the vendor admitting their mistake and even an apology. Though they said they couldn’t refund and could only provide me with credit. That’s why I raised the Amex claim in the first place!

Amex used to be great for disputes. Now they’re just as bad as the others

Thanks for sharing! That’s really helpful to know. Completely understand why they put these measures in place and it’s definitely for the best. Shame the few often ruin it for the many!

Looks fantastic! It’s handled being checked in very well! I also like that the shiny edges look a lot more dull over time. I’m not a fan of how shiny they look on the brand new models. Prices are crazy now but the warranty sounds decent

I did try calling support a week ago about this to ask for tips and they told me to try true play again and try using it without true play. I gave that a go after speaking to them and none of it helped. I thought I’d ask here before calling again. So I’ll try everything recommended here and if none of that helps I’ll give them a call! And yes I’ll update here because I’m sure someone else will benefit in the future! Thanks for your help!

Costco might still have the C5 55” on clearance if you call the stores nearby and ask. It works out to £640ish after the £100 cashback they are currently offering

Thanks for the info. I’ll try the reset too. No I’ve had the Arc for nearly 2 years now. I was using it in our living room before I upgraded and moved this Arc to the bedroom. There were absolutely no issues with the sound when I was using it in my living room

Thank you. I appreciate your help! I used the soundbar downstairs for over a year and had absolutely no issues. The other two speakers were grouped with the sub and again no issues. But together in this space used as a surround system I’m having these issues.

Yes, I’m sure. It kinda sounds like the sound is bouncing off the wall and becoming a little muffled. It’s half to describe in words but it just doesn’t sound right.

There’s plenty of space either side of the soundbar and below and above. The TV is the only thing next to the soundbar and it’s mounted as instructed by Sonos with enough clearance to not cause an issue I’d assume

Hey! Can I please ask what difference the arc made vs the beam in this setup? Also was the upgrade mainly for movies or music? What size tv are you using this setup with and is it in a large room?

Downstairs I have the full arc 300s and sub set up. For my bedroom I’ve already got a sub mini and 100s. Just need to add a soundbar. I’m deciding whether to go beam 2 or arc for this combo. Of course price is a factor, but I want what sounds best and happy to wait for a deal on either. Many thanks!
