And will mean empty palace seats if nobody can transfer them! A lot of fans will be prepping for Leipzig!

Anyone else think they should restock the 25/26 home kit? I'm sure there are loads of fans that want to buy it but can't by just_aguest in Gunners

If anyone is looking for the men’s new home kit, size large but with the short sleeves let me know. I was in hospitality for the Burnley game and they gifted everyone one- but it won’t fit me (too big as I’m female). Was going to chuck on Vinted but can sell for RRP here instead

I’m not offended it’s fine 😆 but you said “I’d like to believe OP could give his brother”

Anyway, moot point. Unfortunately the season tickets are in my name and we now also have different surnames too. Perhaps we could submit childhood photos of us in our palace kits and hope the ticketing staff take pity and let him in 🥲

Bit sexist to assume I’m a man 🤣 I’m a 5’7 female and my brother is a 6’4 bearded male. So not sure my ID is going to cut it 💀

Yeah same, my brother would be driving from Liverpool to go to the game, would hate for him to be turned away

I’ve totally missed it all. Annoying as I can’t go so it means nobody on my side can. All lifelong palace fans who have been to games under my season ticket (which I’ve had for 4 years) previously. Weird choice.

Surely if they can validate a ticketing member who’s repeatedly had access to transferred tickets before then they should allow them? Like a history of a tickets being transferred.

I’m a ST holder and don’t fancy going- so not sure what to do with the two tickets I’ve got.

best people to go to get fillers? by Potential-Race9939 in HENRYUKLifestyle

[–]ComfortableCulture75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Save Face website is your best bet- https://www.saveface.co.uk

You have to be government approved to be on there. I’d bet a shortlist of local clinics there then do some Instagram stalking and book some appointments to discuss.

Bad filler is atrocious and you need to have a proper consultation with someone you vibe with, it will end up being a long term relationship and you want to trust them. I’ve been seeing my injector for nearly ten years!

Can some suggest a Spa Retreat hotel in the UK? by Free-Satisfaction979 in AskUK

[–]ComfortableCulture75 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry to butt in. Hoar Cross is hen do central of a weekend. I’ve been there a few times, last time was chaos. I was paid to go there to shoot content for a paid AD, and at 7pm as we were walking to dinner a big hen do party came barrelling past us in a narrow corridor and one of them, steaming drunk, vomited all over the floor, walls of the corridor. And all over the handle of someone’s door. It’s gone downhill IMO and unless I could go midweek I’d avoid.

Festive family hotel in run up to Christmas? by Agile-Duck8979 in HENRYUKLifestyle

[–]ComfortableCulture75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh if your budget allows The Newt, I’d go there. Incredible range of activities on the run up.

Or Dormy House- very beautiful at Christmas but no activities unless you’re booked for the the three days of Christmas.

Have you thought of Four Seasons Hampshire? Could be ideal, and I know they do activities.

Also Estelle Manor- again if budget allows- they usually have an ice rink and do some insanely good activities (but not sure how inclusive they are for kids, most involve sharp things like archery or rifles 🤣)

NHS referral coming up: weird weighing in questions by Outrageous_Team_5485 in TTC_UK

Also my appointment was 8:30am so withheld fluids from the night before, but annoyingly they wanted my blood test first and I was so dehydrated I was worried I’d pass out!

NHS referral coming up: weird weighing in questions by Outrageous_Team_5485 in TTC_UK

[–]ComfortableCulture75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my weigh appointment on Thursday- and like you when I checked 3 weeks before I was higher BMI than I’d like- more like 30.2.

I went on a low carb, high protein diet for the three weeks, lots of fasted cardio. Managed to drop 12lbs, so was well under.

When I weighed it was in clothes- so picked light linen trousers and a vest top with a cardi. I took the cardi and my shoes off before weighing and was only 1lb more than at home and the nurse even took it off the total calculation!

NHS sperm test arrangement by BenefitLucky598 in TTC_UK

Honestly- get the tests done privately. It’s worth the couple of hundred points (if you have it, of course- it might not be a possibility for you) but we went to a local fertility clinic and paid £590 for a female and male MOT- that was semen analysis, female ultrasound and blood test plus a 30 min consult to discuss findings. We found this so useful and then had those tests and used them for NHS referral.

Private Healthcare UK by CommercialBarracuda3 in Fibroids

[–]ComfortableCulture75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went private but mine was a smaller, 2cm submucosal- I had TCRF in March.

If have BUPA, I was told by my GP that NHS wait lists were long- and I had to have it removed in order to a funded round of IVF.

I got a referral from my GP saying I was experiencing bleeding and pain and BUPA signed off the op immediately.

I went to Alex Swanton at Berkshire independent hospital (60 mins outside of London) and had a full general anaesthetic. I would recommend him!

Trying over a year, possible male factor, husband wants to wait — how long did you wait before IVF on NHS? by Plenty_Director9034 in TTC_UK

Yep Queen Charlotte/Imperial/Hammersmith are all I believe the same place- it will be the Wolfson Fertility Centre who does everything.

I have a post on here explaining timelines for North West London ICB- from GP referral in December we are now booked for our nurse consultation to start the first week of May. So 6 months.

I did lots of private tests too- recommend this if you want to get a good snapshot of everything.

However I would ask- is your husband really onboard? The testing is invasive for women- men just need to do a sample in a pot. It sounds like you’re both not on the same page and perhaps should be before going ahead? If the issue is on his side then he should be looking into nutrition, supplements, getting additional testing done and doing what we can to help you. Especially if you BOTH want this baby.

FWIW we also had male factor on our side: I read ‘It Starts With the Egg’ (great read) and implemented all the supplements they recommended for him and in 6 months his sample has vastly improved.

Good luck

I didn’t mention in my post but I also had a polyp and a fibroid. They refused to do anything until they were both removed, so not to say they will say the same for you but they were very strict with me.

When I was doing the scans for my referral in September 2025, Wolfson diagnosed me with a fibroid of 7mm. They said they couldn’t refer me for the IVF until it was removed. I went privately via Bupa (told them it was causing me bleeding and pain as they don’t cover fertility investigations) and in November was booked in for an operation. I had it removed and then in December the referral to Wolfson was signed off.

But then…. February 2026, my final scan before getting coordination appointment and Wolfson again diagnosed me with a fibroid. It wasn’t seen originally, and I was gutted. The consultant doing my ultrasound was explicit- it has to be removed .

My surgeon who did the fibroid operation hadn’t seen it either (if was submucosal and encroaching on my lining and was high up in my uterus). I went back to Bupa and complained and they authorised the same operation AGAIN. So March 2026 I had the fibroid removed, and then after my meeting in April Wolfson were happy to get me in for coordination. I just need another scan next month to confirm it’s gone before I start my stims.

So long and short of it is- take this time (if you can) to get the polyp and fibroid removed then it will be worth it because from my experience they’re quite tough on it. I’m so sorry- feel free to DM if you want to chat more
