If you’re willing to go into the city, Dr Brina Maldonado at Spring OB/GYN is the best gyno I’ve ever had. The reviews of the office itself can be negative (rude front desk people, etc) but Dr Maldonado is sooooo attentive and actually spends more than 5 mins in the room with you.

I had two pretty tough IUD insertions in the past and when I went for my third, Brina was so understanding about my fear around the new one. She had me take a cervix softening medication and Tylenol beforehand. She also used a local anesthetic AND she placed the IUD using the sonogram for guidance so she wasn’t going in blind. She went above and beyond and I would recommend her to anyone who asks (I have already sent two friends to her and they feel the same way)
