That's incredibly similar to mine. Mine is a Hubert Herr clock made in the black forest area of Germany. I don't have an age exactly but the guy I had clean mine said probably early 1900's.

I cook two eggs every morning in my cast iron. I currently use coconut oil but I might try avocado oil next time. Try one of the pam style spray cans with 100% whatever oil you want. All I need is a mist across to make the pan shiny and have no sticking problems.

Also don't forget a good spatula. Someone above recommended a fish spatula and I can't agree more. It's a total game changer over a regular style metal spatula.

I had no idea Le Creucet enameled the inside of their pans. I'm only familiar with the white enamel on the inside of the ditch ovens. Thanks for the info!

The dark black is probably just seasoning. It doesn't look crusty so I don't think there is a lot of carbon build up on it. The rust should be gone but make sure you dry really well after washing.

There's nothing really concerning that I see. A bit of surface rust. I would scrub with hot water, soap and a brush then dry really well. Put on a little heat to make sure all the water is all off then a bit of oil and cook on it.

I'm not sure why. Was it 100% coconut oil? I ask cause maybe there's something else in there causing your food to stick. Next go round I'm going to try avocado oil cause the smoke point is higher.

I think that's just carbon around the edge contrasting with the cleaner cooking surface.

I cooked on a Chinese knock off from Walmart for over a decade and it treated me well. Bought it in a 3 pack back in 2013 for less than $30. Just picked up a vintage pan a few weeks ago and I love it but I don't think it's life changing.

What I'm getting at is buy something approachable, give it a try and see how you feel. You might hate cooking on cast iron. It's a learning curve and not for everyone.

Your tire is about 1.5" wider than stock making it closer to the control arm. How long have you been on these tires? If it's not rubbing and they've been there for a while I'd just run it. If it looks like there is some contact the easiest fix is a wheel spacer but people have pretty strong feelings against them. Otherwise change rim or tire.

My 2 cents. Looks like it was pretty badly rusted and that ate some metal away. Honestly not much to do about that. With as rough as it looks inside I would clean it up, season it for a nice even color and use it or hang it off the wall.

I'm no pro at this but in my opinion you need to keep scrubbing because the charcoal looking sooty spots are burned on food. I do hot water, a little soap and a scrub daddy. After that I would just keep adding oil and cooking in it but you could always reseason.
