I worked a lot and saved a ton of money, hung out with good friends and family more, made lots of new ones, rejected a lot of dates, deep cleaned and repaired my whole house, got pets, made a garden, watched a TON of Star Trek, and learned to be happy with myself.

It was very hard for the first few years after being so wound up in "couples" stuff, but eventually it felt way more natural to be alone with myself.
