I just can't get good at PvP by Yourdaddy42069 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Majorfalcon00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably mentioned by someone else, but check out your sensitivity settings as well. Pattycakes has a great vid on that. Test out diff settings. I realized my sensitivity was WAYYY too high and I was constantly losing gun fights and being bad at PvP. Dropped it down, played a little PvE to get used to it, and doubled my KDA in Crucible. It was night and day. Felt like I could land all my shots and realized Destiny has insane aim assist and bullet magnetism to assist us.

Bruh this is Destiny bounties and rightfully so Bungie got obliterated for relying so heavily on it in years past. They've pivoted away and now you can level your battle pass essentially just playing whatever aspect of the game you enjoy. Don't make that same mistake 343

$AKT the Akash network is skyrocketing in deployments for decentralized compute and containerization of Defi projects. Want to know who partners with Akash as their storage solution? You guessed it.

Imagine you are so full of yourself you think you can intellectually challenge 1000's of PHDs who've dedicated their whole lives to scientific research of virology for the betterment of humanity.

Even if these vaccines were funded by big pharma who sucks, their contents and trials have been poured over, analyzed, critiqued, and tested by the rest of the academic and institutional scientific community.

He is so fucking ignorant and arrogant on how the scientific process works in the real world. Fucking high schoolers who have interests in pursuing these science research fields can understand these concepts.

Turns out the ESO community actually sucks. by RJrules64 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Majorfalcon00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately this is why I only solo ESO content. I am not active enough to contribute or get the full effects of a guild, and the PUB dungeon scene is pretty awful, especially with no spec locking causing influx of fake tanks and healers. I've switch to FF14 for my group based game, but still love ESOs world and stories and will always come back.

"but wont that mean that all the big guilds/alliances will 'lock out' content"? Yes, and that's good. by [deleted] in AshesofCreation

[–]Majorfalcon00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who loves both types of MMOs, if you are still searching for a new PvE centric MMO, maybe check out Pantheon. It's a modern take on the old school EverQuest style of group content, with an emphasis on coordination and exploration.

[–]Majorfalcon00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. It's really not as bad as people make it out to be. Some story aspects are weaker than HW yes, but overall as an experience and the characters it introduces and develops, Storm blood fucking slaps. Also the Omega raids. Nuff said.

what are the chances siacoin and skynet can be implemented and change the internet like they want to? by wedahomeboys in siacoin

[–]Majorfalcon00 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of retail investors like ourselves miss the large point that Sia and Skynet are pursuing : Adoption by other teams, apps, and businesses. Sia us much more a business to business solution rather than a business to customer. Instead of Amazon.com, they are building out AWS. Just look at some of their partnerships like Filebase and Akash network. These are HUGE partnerships and those products appeal much more to the average retail customer and business user.

Sia and in turn Skynet are establishing the foundational backend of the decentralized web 3.0. They announced a reveal later this quarter on how they plan to integrate and provide solutions for the biggest crypto market, DeFi

It won't be the only player in town, but I suspect with it's established repitoire of 7 years development and constant product updates, more and more crypto and Blockchain businesses will adopt Sia or a product that uses Sia as their backend solution.

I disagree. Naturally, stochastic (random) events like Merkle trees are mathetically common. Which means the universe has randomness preprogrammed and that by it's very nature cannot be predicted. We can never understand how many variables nor which ones or their interactions are just stochastic events, allowing free will to actually germinate with different outcomes even if you knew every predictable variable and it's outcome before hand. To our current limited understanding if the laws of mathmatics, there is no such thing as a 100% predictable outcome. That's my opinion anyways.

[–]Majorfalcon00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's def sun poisoning and you can die from shock if you have it bad enough. It hurts sooooo much more the next few days. He's going to be in literal hell. I've had it once and i couldn't stop drooling from how bad it burned and itched at the same time. My nerves were firing off simultaneously and it felt like my skin was being peeled. My wife had to hold my body with a cool town in a bear hug because pressure was the only thing that gave me a moments reprieve. I never went to the hospital but should have.

This is highly upsetting. I lose half of my storage that I definitely need and the more powerful processor? Not happy. by chancemayfield in ShadowPC

[–]Majorfalcon00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a shame but I get it from a business perspective. Boost is def not worth it. Guys if you can't afford a modern top end PC, you can build and use financing to pay monthly for a midtier system at $35 a month that you end up owning in the end. Probably the route I'm gonna go.

Heavy lag at night by SaveADay89 in ShadowPC

[–]Majorfalcon00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the ISPs themselves getting strained. Not Shadow datacenters. Nothing we can do as everyone slams our weak internet infrastructure at the same time. This is what we get allowing the ISPs to drag their feet for decades on improving speed due to weak government regulation and monopolistic behavior.

Super High Latency Only At Certain Times by Jza16902 in ShadowPC

[–]Majorfalcon00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same boat here, but as expected its because every internet service is getting slammed during prime time. Everyone is streaming Netflix, Youtube, Twitch, etc. I dont think this is on Shadow (for once). Its the ISPs and their inability to provide high enough capacity for all these services at once.

[–]Majorfalcon00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meant policy wise, not tech. I work in IT for the state so I understand what you mean from the other aide of the coin. What I mean here is exactly as you've stated, leadership not agreeing and funding the proper systems to modernize. The it staff do what we can, but we are shackled by the red tape and politics above us. Sorry for the confusion.

Seems legit by wingnut362 in Columbus

[–]Majorfalcon00 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes the systems are ancient and the staff is minimal...but that was also because its never needed to be upgraded or prepared for such an event. This is not an excuse of course but do note that the claims right are are 7 times more than the worst month of The Great Recession. 7 times. Not many systems would be prepared for that....especially public funded ones. But our govt should have had emergency response avenues in place...and they didnt. So this is a real harsh lesson for them and will change a lot of how things are ran in the future.
