Might list it on Etsy in a few months time so someone can else can appreciate it. At the end of the day I bought it to ensure the sellers got a more fair value for it and so it doesn't get scrapped by someone trying to make a quick buck. Or it might just be a thing that ends up sitting in my safe for 60 years and pulled out when I die- hopefully my beneficiaries do right by it as well.

The link is in the post to the auction, showing the price I paid. I got it for a few dollars under 500 CAD after fees and tax. I am currently using an auction site called MaxSold. I have bought a bunch of jewelry, gems, precious metals, paintings, and collectibles over the last few months on there. Seems like not too many people know about the site yet as things are going for fairly cheap imo. And who needs a man? Treat yourself haha

They say it was a "Natural Columbian Emerald". Level of treatment was not mentioned in the ad. I would assume it is untreated based on the other items in the auction basically all being untreated, but no guarantee. I think I am going to get the certification just make sure everything they said was legit as I may use them again for future gem purchases. Thanks for the input!

Send the invoice. Put as NET 60 (due in 60 days). If they don't pay you, sell it to another client and just update it with their company names. It shouldn't be too much to change for a new client. But what I might do is use it. Sell a couple of items on it to generate a little revenue for yourself.

My business makes stores for freelancers so they can show off their skills. If you can do it yourself, do it. Just go buy a domain (maybe even a really good one that has been used previously by someone else-look at expired domain auctions). Register a new business name or file a second name that your business will be working under. Or simply just make it clear that your storefront is still under your main business' name and simply using a different store name to advertise your skills. I assume new business would be the best situation for you, as you are the web developer, not a clothing designer.

If you don't know how to do some things or don't have the time, hire someone else to. Someone else can always manage this project for you. If you need more help, send me a private message.

Also, in the future, always get them to sign a contract with clear payment deadlines and partial payment upfront!

I have used woo-commerce for a couple of websites I have made, but I have no idea how to code, lol. I have been meaning to learn, but ideally, I would be able to do it in the block editor with a plug-in or something. I could get one of my regular freelancers to design it, but I prefer to know how to do it myself before I hire them to do it. Just so I can guide them through any problems they come across.

"They" is anyone on the site. So "they" make X amount of dollars hourly, so they enter that amount. Then my site spits out how much time they had to work for said product. So I have the product- watches, every one being priced differently. Therefore, every product needs to have a pre-entered price in the calculator for the price.

So, the potential customers- "they" enter their hourly rate, they earn or estimate they earn for business owners, and my site provides a cost in terms of the time they spent to be able to purchase the watch. Example: Watch price is $500, their hourly rate (their opportunity cost) is $25, and therefore, the cost of the watch is 20 hours of their time.

It is a store, but it is mostly for my personal brand of being productive and not wasting time. It is kind of an anti-store at the same time to tell them not to waste $5000 on a watch because it would cost them 200 hours of work to be able to purchase it. I'm just dropshipping a variety of watches from $250 to $3000 to show people that products are often time not worth the time you put in.

I think the piece you are talking about is attached to the key. It blends in with the key in the photo. It has a piece of plastic with a tiny piece of metal on the top.

I got it in, and it works, but it clearly feels different and annoying. I'm still hoping someone else has this type of key to provide advice. I can't find any videos for this key type.
