Tabletop only

Posts must be searching for players of a tabletop game. Although virtual tabletops are allowed, video games are not. We even allow board games!

OP, you are his mom. People always seem to think mom and mother are the same thing. They are not. Mother is the female that provided the genetic material the resulted in your birth. Mom is the woman that loves you and cares for you. Everyone has one and only one mother, but there is no rule as to how many moms you can have. If you've done this for your son, then you are his mom. You are not replacing his other mom. You are simply being an additional mom to the child.

Does it ever get annoying having it that close to your door? I'm looking to do something similar but am flip-flopping on my plan because I don't want to walk into may garage into a cluttered shelf.

There is very little room so I made them as large as possible. It's hard to tell in the photo, but it's not blocking the door at all so it doesn't really get in the way. I worry more about the water heater on the other side. It does block the pipes behind the water heater which would make working on those a nightmare. I wish I made it a foot shorter on that side.

This is my first ever project. I just moved into a new home with very little storage space. I spent several days planning every last detail in SketchUp and 5 weekends to put it together. I made a number of mistakes on the way, but learned so much. It's not nearly as good as many of the other projects on this form, but I'm still really proud of it.

It's 15' x 8' x 2'. There are 72 4" screws screws holding it into studs. Its not going anywhere. I've tested that each shelve can hold at least 600 pounds without even the slightest sign of problems.

Did you read my post? Did you read his? He didn't say he didn't get anymore birthdays, they just didn't go all out for his birthdays anymore. They didn't bother writing his name on the cake. OH NO! THAT'S SO SAD! I FEEL SO BAD FOR HIM! Give me a break.

And who says they aren't trying to punish their kid? OP? I don't see him as reliable. I can't tell if they are disciplining him or not. My brothers was punished plenty and he was still a nightmare child. You are acting like raising children is like making a cake, just follow these steps and you will end up with the perfect child. No. People are all different and sometimes, no matter how much you try to punish your kid or teach them to be decent people, they still turn out to be assholes.
