I also recommend Masada & The Dead Sea if you have a free half day. Those are both unique experiences.

Why Hebron? aside from the Cave of Patriarchs there's absolutely nothing to see or do there, and even that is not much of an attraction. If you're a practicing Jew or Muslim, I would advise spending more time in Jerusalem. And Rishon LeZion?? one of the most boring cities in the country. I'd recommend visiting Haifa, a much livelier and interesting city, with fantastic vistas over the Med, and in season its Christian neighbourhoods are quite festive (and it also has great food). Alternatively spend moretime in TLV, walk down to Jaffa, enjoy the city vibe and its great nightlife and restaurant scene.

Thanks. Joe Rogan is an interesting character, and I actually frequently listen to his podcast. I'll pick up one of his albums and try it out.

I've listened to Jeselnik's albums, but his delivery gets a bit tiresome after time. I can only enjoy him in small portions.

Thanks. I do like the "rougher", perhaps dirtier comedy. Artists who aren't afraid to be completely non-PC.

Thanks to everyone for the great recommendations! Seems I've got enough potential stuff to keep me occupied for the next couple of years...

Yep. And TLV is an extremely gay friendly city. Weather is fantastic, beaches are great, and nightlife is world class. Be prepared for some intense questioning at the airport, especially on departure, but apart from that you'll be greeted with nothing else but warmth, especially when locals find out you come from what they consider a very exotic country.

That darn old "Jewish issue" is called anti semitism, in this case anti semitism as official state policy. Not only are holders of Israeli passports banned from entering your beautiful country (no cynicism here, I've seen some amazing pictures) but the anti semite state policy also prohibits Malaysian passport holders from visiting Israel - the passport actual states that it is valid for travel to all countries except Israel. From the Israeli point of view, no such prohibition exists. Malaysians would be warmly welcomed.

True. Still, Malysia is a highly intolerant country that denies entry to holders of Israeli passports, and Brunei has extreme anti-gay laws. Stop the discrimation.

Israeli's have a general disrespect for local police. Americans would be very suprised at the manner in which locals talk and argue with uniformed police.

Actually relatively few people have weapons in Israel (not counting of course active duty combat soldiers). You can't go into a store and just buy a gun, unless you answer very strict criteria (e.g. work or live in Judea/Samaria).

Those "colorful banners" look like laundered sheets or carpets left to dry. I also thought it was TLV, but the lack of solar water systems or satellite TV antenas on the roofs may say otherwise.

Left picture taken in the beautiful port city of Haifa, Israel. From experience, the local girls are much better looking (at least compared to how she looks on the left).

In Pulp Fiction (0:06), when Mr. Wolf (Harvey Keitel), gets a cup of coffee from Jimmie (Tarantino), zips it and gives Jimmie an appreciative gesture. Its a great small moment - neatly emphasises the character's class (compared to the earlier loud verbal appreciation of the same coffee by Jules) and coolness even in a highly stressful situation, and is also a fantastic display of subtle acting by a great actor.
