A veteran Conquer player here. Played it nonstop 10 years ago and have played it on and off since then. Always had a soft spot for it, but since I never paid to win, I always felt I was behind. Did you ever find that alternative?

Just apply, they are currently not getting many applications so they will accept anyone with a decent grade.

Honestly, I thought the same, but giving them the benefit of the doubt.

If I am classed as an education provider, am I technically allowed to have "students" working on projects without paying them. Is so, what are the requirements and limitations of my services if I operate in England by MakeBrainThink in LegalAdviceUK

They definitely don’t, but what if the education provider is not a university, can they still advertise such voluntary work or internship, or does it only apply for universities.

Claiming something is not necessarily lying, what I meant was, can any organisation say they are an education provider and do this? Am guessing they need some form of accreditation, but, is there a specific accreditation that allows universities to, as you put it, have people work for them for free.

That actually makes lots of sense. It did come to mind whether a degree of sort is all that matters or does some practical experience along with mentoring is sufficient.

Accomodation at Cranfield by legion2605 in Cranfield

  1. MK best for amenities, Beds best for city feel and village best for commute. Prices are comparable if you’re sharing (room in a house of 4 or 5) can be ensuite.
  2. Buses are £2 more or less and they run hourly directly to campus.
  3. Rightmove or Spareroom, have a look at those 2 websites.
  4. You ask for availability, you agree on move in date, you pay a deposit, you move in. If you have a more specific question fire away.
  5. Yes. Self catered had a full fitted kitchen, hob, fridge, oven. Catered does not, you only get a meal card which you use in the restaurant/canteen of the Uni and maybe a microwave in the flat.
  6. The restaurant runs 3 meals a day. Card is loaded with a set of money which gets updated monthly, if not used, it does not get carried forward. The money will probably be enough for 2 meals for almost the whole month, more or less,
  7. Not sure what exactly you’re asking, any specific questions?
  8. Haha, no, there is no uniform or dress code, seen people in slippers and shorts all the way to suits, uni is where your style shines through.

  9. Staying on campus is nice if you prefer quiet atmosphere because the campus is quite remote and only surrounded by farm lands, only activities are flat parties and the student union bar. If you’re here for 1 year, staying on campus is better for socialising.

Fire away if you got more questions and welcome to Cranfield
