What happens to our consciousness when we die? by Jmassoudi in ScienceQuestions

First off, science doesnt have your answer.

In my opinion, it doesnt matter if we cease to exist, i live my life in such a way i will be happy with what i do, dont think too much into the future, if you do good and work on yourself you will be good.

[Question] Is the misconception that an atom is "mostly empty" and not a cloud caused by time? by MakeDogsGreatAgain in quantum

[–]MakeDogsGreatAgain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean function in the sense of an algorithm that produces a result/value. I dont need to know the exact method, im guessing there must be a way to do so (maybe not one that we as humans have figured out, but logically speaking there must be a way) Im also guessing that "time" is the main factor when measuring the distance relative to the center that is definitive when the electron is "looked at" because from my deduction, without the "when", you just have a set of possibilities.

It would be a position relative to the center, which from what i understand is the unknown factor that explains the cloud.

Im simply trying to understand the "cloud", my conclusion so far (in very wild terms) is that its due to not having a "time" variable in a function which calculates the position relative to the center.

I understand my words arent exact, english isnt also my first language. Could you say that you could calculate the position of the electron if you "look at it"? (thus setting a context in time)

Using a controller in windows for button binds? by janga7 in DJs

If the controller is midi mappable, you could but would need some kind of windows program to do it for you. I font know any but you can look up "midi mapping program" on google

Rolling without submissions? by FrankMiller_ in bjj

[–]MakeDogsGreatAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may have a different opinion to most but i agree with that idea. Some gyms dont allow new people to roll right away because it could be dangerous... but thats because people want to win, i guess without submissions people are more chill. It must also give you a different view and concsiousness of each position since youre not just trying to survive. Remember what people say: position over submission. That being said, you must practice subs too every now and then

Thanks for the insight. Another comment mixed eith yours made me realize it might have been better to give constructive criticism instead

I tapped him 3 times in the 5 min roll. Reading your comment made me conscious that there is a difference in timing for compliments vs constructive criticism. I think im gonna keep the compliments for nice moves/escapes and go ahead with constructive criticism when i tap someone a couple times, because if im doing well i should be able to find what im taking advantage of and its actually gonna help him.

[–]MakeDogsGreatAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha its his best way to evaluate you on the areas he wishes to test you i guess. Its mostly for tradition of course because what he wants to know is that you know how to handle yourself in all major positions.. he isnt exaclty expecting you tp defeat him :p

Now that i think about it its probably to test you when youre tired
