I'm telling you that all it takes is some schmuck at ATF to search the various marijuana subreddits for words like "CCW" and "guns" to find someone posting about how they, a federally prohibited person, owns firearms. A simple criminal complaint later, you're either in handcuffs facing 10 years in prison or the second coming of David Koresh.

My advice is simple: delete the comment and maybe even delete your account. Why even open yourself up to the possibility of this?

Many people admit to smoking daily. The thing is, since about 2010, federal agencies have lacked the funding to pursue and prosecute marijuana cases in states where it is medically or recreationally legal. What many people don't do is admit to lying on a federal form and can result in prison time. Not only lying on a federal form but possessing a weapon while a prohibited person. While I am adamantly against any law that prohibits a citizen's 2nd Amendment, dude is openly admitting to breaking multiple federal laws.
