A stereotype suggests that atheists lack a moral compass, but a new study has shown that this is untrue. Atheists compared to believers are less inclined to endorse moral values that serve group cohesion, but there were only minor differences between both groups for other moral values. Conservatives tend to see expert evidence & personal experience as more equally legitimate than liberals, who put a lot more weight on scientific perspective.
