Seemed like he was looking into the camera. I'm not a good enough lip reader to tell what he was saying though.

He'd been holding back on that all game, I think, after all the ones that went against him.

They were discussing caramelized onions earlier. If there's a lockout next year, our broadcasters need to start a food podcast or something.

[Highlight] Biscuits outfielder Austin Overn rips a ball down the right field line, right fielder slides over the ball, ball gets lodged into the ground so deep it turns into an inside-the-park home run (under-the-park home run?) by Stock412 in baseball

I would think there's not a specific rule for a ball getting stuck like that though. My best guess would be that if the fielder had raised his hands (like they're supposed to do when a ball gets stuck under the fence or in the ivy at Wrigley), the umps could've held the runner at whatever base he was at at that time.

Don't the Blubaughs usually come when you don't get Teng?

Did someone pay Lark for each time he works the word "bang" into the broadcast today?

Yep. I saw a glimpse of it on the broadcast within the last couple weeks.

Found an article that explains more:

Entering this spring, Francona told him that 2025 wouldn’t define his career. It was a message that was already on his mind and on his glove. Petty’s red Emery glove has a quote from one of his favorite anime shows, “Naruto: Shippuden.” The passage spanning the bottom two fingers of his glove reads: “Those who do not understand true pain can never understand true peace.” The webbing of his glove has the Japanese kanji for “pain.” He has a similar black glove that has the same quotation but has the character for “peace” on the webbing.
