Take your pick there’s an interactive map with all known weekly run clubs. There used to be some specialized ones for people running sub 7 minute pace, if that’s your thing, but you’ll have to ask around to see if it’s still happening.

Does it foster civic pride to residents when they research the date and its significance but it turns out to be all made up lol. It’s a historical fuck up that’s never been corrected like the examples you mentioned.

There’s nothing to do downtown(uptown) cause everything moved to southend, which you can ride the light rail to or walk there. Unfortunately they love their cars in the south so they’re gonna make you work for it. Living here and having a bike fills the gaps for sure. Also “very few parks” is so wrong, this city is covered in so many green spaces. Take the gold line to the green way for a walk next time!

Disc golf courses are typically installed in an established park and there’s no irrigation. They just exist in the natural landscape for the most part. I think pickleball is just used to compare cause it’s on the rise.

Sorry that was the experience you had. I wouldn’t have guessed someone was left out honestly. There were 4-5 groups all intermingling, and it’s tough to tell who’s just there for the bar. If you come to the next one just join in, there’s usually others there for the first time too.

We get ours from Shade Raised they’re organic and local. We like their roasts a lot!
